Today I want to talk about the Cricket.
This sport is not very famous in the world but there is a World Cup for that, the champion are Australian people.
This sport was found in the XVIII century for rich people.
Cricket is a collective sport played with a small ball, a bat, a glove and a helmet went it's in competition.
It's a match with 2 teams and they played one after the other. The goal is to have more point than the over team.

So today, I want to talk about the Tennis. It's an adaptation of Jeu de Paume. Following the Battle of Azincourt in 1415, the Duke of Orleans was imprisoned for two decades in England. On the occasion of this captivity at Wingfield in Norfolk, the Duke introduced in England the racquet he practiced.
A small anecdote, the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London is the oldest tournament because the first was held in 1877.

"Rugby Football", for that is his real name which means: football Rugby. It is in this small town in central England, north of London, in 1823 high school students have transformed their matches in football matches "Soule" a little more regulated. This sport is often called "Rugger" in popular language.
This typically British sport has gradually spread throughout the English-speaking world, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in the lead, with the exception of the United States, too attached to their "American football".
The rugby temple is TWICKENHAM, western suburbs of London towards Heathrow airport and Windsor with its famous castle.

The Rugby fifteen was create in a english town which is Warwickshire. This sport includes many rules like the forward, the fray, etc... A team consists of 15 players and 7 substitutes. The idea: the player must not make going forward hand. But it can make the foot. So the goal is to go tackle the ball in the opposing camp, on the ground behind the line. The opposing team must tackle the players who hold the ball and prevent them from progressing too quickly near the line.
A game lasts 80 minutes (2x40 minutes) between cut a 10 minute break.
The rugby is played with an oval ball.
There are many victories like in 2003 : in Australia, England beats the double world champion, Australia (20-17).

There is also the rugby, created in 1823 by a studend named William Web Ellis and there is a big team in England in this sport. The tennis inspired by the French game "Jeu de paume", this is major Walter Clopton Wingfield who file the patent in 1874. This is the principal sports created by the English but there are other since the cricket or the badbinton.

I'm going to talk about a typically English sport : the polo. What's the polo ? This is a team sport played on horse back. There 2 teams of 4 cavaliers playing on a playground of 300 meters. Each cavalier have a mallet and the purpose is, with this mallet, to put a little ball between two poles. Of course, the team who score the most win. This sport is very played in Anglo Saxon countries and in some South American countries. Today, Argentina is the World Champion team.

I'm going to talk about the Table tennis or "Ping Pong". This sport was created around the 1860s during a meal, few people speak about tennis and would like to show this on the table. Rules are the same that the Tennis. Now, this sport was played mostly in China with the best players in the world.

first all of the most popular sports in the UK are: cricket, football, tennis, and Rudby and horse racing.
I'll talk about another slightly less popular sport is rowing, the boat race.
The Boat Race is the name of a famous boat race which is run every year in the spring between the universities of Oxford and Cambridge on the River Thames in London UK. This event is very popular among the elders of these universities but also for rowing enthusiasts and the general public. The number of spectators on the banks of the Thames is estimated at about 500 000. In 2004, the television broadcast was followed by a little over 500 million viewers. This makes it one of the most followed sporting events in the world. The first race dates back to 10 June 18291 and short every year since 1856 (except during the two world wars).

I'll talk about a unusual sport native from England: the Quidditch. It's about a sport comes from the saga Harry Potter.
There are 2 teams of seven players, riding broomsticks, and using four differents balls: 1 Quaffle, 2 Bludgers, and 1 Golden Snitch. The aim is to mark the maximum of points by passing the Quaffle between one of the 3 posts or by catching the Golden Snitch.
Obviously, in our world we can't use broomstick. So, in USA for exemple, players use bicycles or unicycles.

The englishs invented a lot of sports and the most famous is the football. Even today english football league is the best of the world with a lot of great teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea (troll). But last year one of the biggest sport surprise happened in Premier League : the little clubs of Leicester City, 16th of the league one year ago, won the Championship. With a great team and big revelations like N'golo Kante, Riyad Mahrez or Jamie Vardy and a fabulous manager Claudio Ranieri they practicized a fabulous football with heart and talent.

About English sports, I would speak about English boxing. This is a very famous fighting sport. The fight takes place on a ring with side of 5 or 6 meters. the fighters wear leather gloves, boxing shoes and bandage on hands and they have to fight with their fists and not their feet. To win, they have to do a KO.

I am going to talk about Rugby. The ancestor of rugby is the soule. This tradditionnal game was practiced in the Middle Ages, where the aim of the game is to project a pig bladder to destroy the bell tower of the opponant. There was almost no rules, no players limit …This particularly violent game was forbidden. The game reappeared in the early nineteenth century in English schools with some adjustments and rules of each school. The captains of each team decided the rules before the game. Popularly, the origne of rugby was given at the rugby school, the school in the town rugby where students were particularly insolent and disrespectful of rules. After a breach of the player Williams Webb Ellis in 1823, who took the ball in this hands at the phase of game where it was not authorized. The school director, took the opportunity to do work with students about the respect of rules. It requires the creation of the official rules, common to each party, we should respect under penality. The game will now be called Rugby Football. The game evolves until 1846, in September the 7, Rugby Football rules were determinet by a
delegation composed of the best players of rugby football at school. In October 1863 separation between football and rugby. The Football Association created football in London. The objective was to unify for the all country, the rules of a sport where it is forbidden to use the ball in hand. In parallel, in December 1863 the rules of rugby were determined in Cambridge.
