Hi guys!

I decided to share this hilarious video with you to debate on the fact that whether or not the representation of women in comic books is sexist.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cmvAWb26W1s

So basically in this video you can see women trying to recreate the pose of various comic books heroines (their comments on their feelings are just priceless  ). You can hear some of them talking about the fact that their body cannot compete with the body heroines have in comics, that they were not pretty enough.

I have to admit that these kind of representation of a woman body is the same in Japanese Mangas -> far from reality, too much boobs, too much a** in here… The whole thing would not even stand for a second in real life!

Do you think drawing women this way, and of course, with clothes that seem borrowed from their 6 year old little sister is a tribute to woman body or that is just another form of sexism and body shaming?

Definitely sexism.

Verging on perverse at times.

Why do you females allow yourselves to be expolited so?
