This series is based on a roman of Stephen King (Shinning, it, The green mile, dead zone etc...), this show is product by J.J Abrams (Star wars 7, Star trek 11/12, and Lost). The main actors are:

James franco, in the role of Jake Epping.     Sarah Gadon, in the role of Sadie Dunhill

Synopsis:
Jake Epping is a professor, he has a very happy life, is an uninteresting teacher and he is the process of divorcing. His universe flips the day when his old friend Al Templeton reveals to him the existence of a temporal portal which allows to be propelled in 1960. It gives to him mission to go back in time to find a way to prevent the murder of JFK. But changing the past will prove to be far more dangerous than he thought ...

Episode 1: The rabbit Hole:

The episode start with a old man named Harry who talk about him when he was a child, He speak about his father when he killed his mother and his brother and sister in 1960 in Holden. This old man his a students of the main character Jake Epping. the best friend of Jake Al explain to him why he developed a cancer, he develops a cancer because he traveling in time, with en time portal named "Rabbit Hole". Al is dying so he ask to Jake to finish his mission, go back in 1960 and save JFK. At the begening Jake didn't want to. But when he find his dead bestfriend on a chair he change is mind. With all Al advices Jake know how won cash and how live in 1960, it's the begining of an investigation, he tries to change the past but the past didn't want to be change and the past tries to kill him. When he want to come back in the present, he had an idea. He want to do something good. At the end of the episode, Jake is in Holden in front of the house of a young boy named Harry with his  parents and brother and sister.

I love this first episode beacause the athmosphere were incredible the decorations are wonderful it feels like being in 1960, James Franco his amazing, i think this series were his best role. Throughout the episode, we can see some details wich will become more important later in the story like his possible love story, and the bad guy that it will have to face. This story change a lot and is good, is more calm and smart with this series is possible to think about the life in 1960 and you ask yourself if the life is 1960 is better than now. There is no action, is just an investigation to find who kill JFK for saving him and to save himself from the past and is consequences.

Episode 2: Other voices, other rooms

Jake moved to Holden, to a Catholic couple. To try to stop the massacre of Harry Jake's family comes into contact with the murderer, Frank Dunning the father of harry, one evening, in a bar. Frank's bloody and deadly urges lead them into the city's slaughterhouses And until the night of the murder. He will meet a young boy named Bill at the end of this episode when he will try to rescue the little boy. Bill is going to be an important part of the story.

I love this episode because it shows us the really dangerous coast of travels in time and that the past does not want to be changed, it shows us that for a simple good action like saving a boy he puts his life in danger, One wonders what it will be when he tries to save JFK. In this episode, we laugh, we worry and we are afraid. It is rare a series that can do this from the second episode
