MY JAM
Salomé P. wrote:Ok because i'm just started being kind of crazy person each time i've listen to my favorite moment song, why not create a topic where (as last movies we watched) where we could put our favorite song and video clip here?
Well without a big surprise... this is my actual crazy song:
My Jam at the moment is Calvin Harris' "This is what you came for" and Black pink's "playing with fire".
Nice subject buddy ;-)

Mood of the week : "I feel it coming" by The weeknd and Daft Punk two of my favorite artists ! I didn't found the real version on youtube but this is the most near of the real one.
I love it because it's remind me some M.J. influences and because Daft Punk make the beats !

Re: Favorite Music
Well, it's time to wake up Favorite music subject ! I love music and i decided to share some of my treasures !
- Nik Kershaw (1984) : The Riddle : just an amazing pop rock classic from 80's <3
- Rick Astley (1987) : "Never Gonna Give You Up" because i've this sound in my head due to South Park season 20, thanks Trey Parker & Matt Stone ! Just a pop song from 80's !
- Bobby McFerrin (1988) "Don't worry be happy" : Classic of reggae and happy music ! So Ooo-oo-hoo-hoo-oo hoo-hoo-oo-oo-oo-oo-ooo Don't worry
Woo-oo-woo-oo-woo-oo-ooo Be happy, Woo-oo-oo-oo-ooo Don't worry, be happy
- Phil Collins (1989) "Another day in paradise" : I know that you appreciate Phil Collins John but i love this one
- The Zutons (2004) "Pressure Point" : I hate Liverpool (coz i'm a Manchester United stupid Fan) except maybe for the Beatles, Wayne Rooney & The Zutons (the saxophonist is so sexy )
- Plastiscines (2009) "Barcelona" : I hate this "girl power" song and also i hate when frenchies pretends to be brits ! But it's just interessant to compare with good music below or above (except maybe Rick Astley)
- Klaxons (2010) " Atlantis to Interzone" : To make me forgive Plastiscines above, i prefer the original to the french copycat
- Macy Gray (2010) " Beauty in the world" : Beautiful song from the queen of soul
- The Chemical Brothers (2011) " Galvanize" : From Manchester please <3 Arabic tonalities, habiba you will appreciate i'm sure
- Lil Uzi Vert (2016) "You was right" : coz Lil Uzi Vert is the new Lil Wayne ! A hit rap sound in US & UK , unknown in France of course !
Well music is everything so enjoy, share, comment : This is internet (and time to sleep too) !

Re: Favorite Music
Jamel I like Phil Collins but not all of his repertoire. As a solo artist I preferred this one for it's ambience:
However when thinking of ex-genesis solo artists I much prefer Peter Gabriel:

I love Phil Collins ! He has his own voice and style
Right now i really like Skip the use : it's a french band (even though they mostly sing in english) If you are in kids products you know them form 2minutes and Zombillenium (cant' wait to see the movie !!!!)
I also love Kana boom, a japanese band
and Aurelio Voltaire : he has a very nice style and the guy is so funny he also have a youtube channel where he re-decorate his house and it's really funny and interesting
What do you guys think ?

Solange is back guys!! And her album looks amazing.
This is the first of her album and it's amazing.
She is natural and speaks about real deal. And it's Beyoncé' sister, so she is awesome!

Re: Favorite Music
Hi everyone.
I don't want to talk about a specific song. I would like to talk about two great composers of film music: Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard.
Hans zimmer is born in Frankfurt, Germany. But now, he is naturalized American and he lives in Los Angeles. He wrote music for the movie like Interstellar, Gladiator, Inception, Inferno...
James Newton Howard is born in Los Angeles, in America. He composed musics for: Batman Begins, Hunger Games, Fantastic beasts.
These composers bring a real added value to the movie.

Re: Favorite Music
Jamel I love Lean on me too !
Frankly speaking I do not have a favorite music. Music are not meant to be favored they are meant to be lived.
Many songs helped me to go through some struggles in life.
Some of you will say I am a Kpop stand. I do love kpop genre but I don't listen to only those buddies. I live all kind of music too !
And this is what makes music an art, it doesn't depend on the language or the way it's made but how it mealts with you guys' feelings !
I know I am a poet and a philisoph of music lol !

Unusual I know but I'm trying to decide which film we're going to watch during the final session and I was watching the one I prefer, to see if it will be too hard (therefore too boring) for you. I've still not decided.

For my part there is a music that I really like is "is not no moutain high enough". And the original version with Marvin Gaye. I think this music is really energetic. And as at this moment we are in period of end of files and partial i advice you.
