serie : breaking bad

These day I’m watching an old TV series <<breaking bad>>, I think that most of people have watched this series. It’s a story about Walter White, who is a chemistry teacher of high school. After he was diagnosed with lung cancer, he decided to earn the money for his family, so he started producing and selling crystallized methamphetamine.
I saw feu of series because I spend all of time to play the piano. But this is really interesting that I cannot stop seeing.

Good choice
This one of my favorite serie, and Bryan Cranston is a very good actor. He proved that he can move to a comic role (in Malcolm in the Middle) into a very serious and dramatic character. There is a lot of episods in this serie, so you can pass a long time watching it.

The principal character of this drama is Walter White, who has been a very nice and honest high school chemistry teacher, until he was diagnosed with inoperable lung cancer. After discovering his disease, his personality changed and turned into a criminal.

Walter teamed up with one of his former student : Jesse Pinkman. And they started to produce and sell methamphetamine, in order to secure his family’s financial future before he dies.

He also teamed up with lawyer Saul Goodman, who helps him to get into touche with drug kingpin.
On the other side of story, Walter’s brother-in-law, an agent from DEA(drug enforcement administration) where determined to solve all the cases involving meth.

In the first episode, Walter said to his students that “Technically, chemistry is the study of matter, but I prefer to say it is the study of changes.”
The whole drama is based around this sentence. Every character has changed a lot. For example, the first time Walter killed someone, he was so afraid. But, little by little, he got used to do it, and kill someone with no feelings.

For me, the real value of this drama is that it is using a “pretty” shocking story to reflect our real life. If we were going to sum up in one sentence about the characters in the dramas, as well as people from real life, it would probably be that : people makes choices that only matter themselves.

Episode 1, season 1

Before Walter White’s 50th birthday, he was diagnosed with lang cancer, and his wife Skyler is pregnant. He wants to secure his family’s financial future, but he didn’t know how to do.
One time, in a follow-up with Hank, to arrest drug producer, Walter saw unexpectedly his former student— Jesse Pinkman. Walter has one idea, he decided to use his chemical knowledge to produce methamphetamine. He is responsible to produce and Jesse is charge to sell.
Walter took out all his savings, for buying an old RV car as a mobile laboratory. He thinks it is more security on more practical and convenient.

Episode 2, season 1

The meth produced by Walter is so pure, so that crazy 8 didn’t trust that it was produced by Jesse, Crazy - 8 ( in fact, he is a police) demands Jesse to bring the real producer. But during one cook of meth, Crazy 8 and his cousin tried to kill Jesse. Walter use chemistry to poison the two people. But crazy 8 was always alive. So they bring him to the basement of Jesse.
Meanwhile, Skyler told to Walter that she was pregnant with a girl.

Because they had kill the cousin of Crazy 8, so they must deal with his body. Jesse is responsible to deal with the body, and Walt is charge to kill crazy 8. Jesse ignored Walter's warning when handling the body and poured hydrofluoric acid directly into the bathtub, instead of the low-density polyethylene plastic bucket . Causing the bathtub and floor to corrode, the bathtub and the floor to come off, along with dead bodies, fell to the first floor.

Walter was so afraid to kill somebody, he hesitated during long time (but little by little, he got used to that…. in the third season, he can kill someone with no feeling … ).

Episode 3, season 1

Hank’s wife (so it’s Skyler’s sister) thinks Walter Junior smokes marijuana and asked Hank to show to him some inconveniences to smoke.
Walter hesitate always to kill crazy 8 or not. He even brings some food for him. But when he arrived in the basement, he fainted suddenly (because he has the lang cancer).

When he woke up, he talked with crazy 8, he told to crazy -8 that he has the cancer, and crazy-8 told to walter a story about him and his parents.
As Walter is so nice, he decided to let him go, but suddenly he realized that crazy -8 wants to kill him because he was taken one of glass of dish.
For self- defensing, Walter killed crazy -8 finally.

Episode 4 , season 1

Hank was so worry about the high-purity methamphetamine on the market (but he didn’t know that it is produced by his brother-in-law hahaha). In a family party, Walter told to his family that he has the cancer, everyone was vert shocked, especially his wife, Skyler.
On the other side, Jesse went home to see his parent and his little brocher. His young brother is a good kid, who is extraordinary intelligent. The maid found marijuana in his brother’s room and showed it to Jesse’s parents, who think it is Jesse who smoke. They said to Jesse that he mustn’t come back home anymore.
But Jesse didn’t tell them the true, he helped his young brother and he left home quietly.

Episode 5, Season 1

Elliot, an old friend of Walt, tries to help pay for his lang cancer treatment. However, because of Walt’s self-esteem, and also because of a contradiction for the company, he refused his help, but he concealed to his wife that he refused. So Skyler thinks always that Walter’s medical expenses have been landing, she is very exciting for it. Walter wants to say the medical treatment with the money that he earns, but he can’t get the money immediately.
In this moment, Jesse wants to produce the meth without Walter, but he can’t make as well as Walter, it’s not pure enough.
And junior Walter was arrested by the police because of the consummation of alcohol.

Episode 6, season 1

Walter and Jesse reached a division and cooperation : Walter is responsible for making drugs and Jesse is charge to sale. (But it never really run this division… )
Skyler starts to doubt about her husband’s sudden disappearance. Walter said that he wanted to be alone. In the meantime, Jesse learned that the real reason of cooking meth is for secure his family.
So Jesse and Walter started to look for a new distributor ( a drug kingpin).
After they built a small explosion with thunderstorm, they reached a deal with a drug dealer named Tuco, who is very violent and who smokes meth every time, he can kill some one without reason, for his pleasure. For me, he is a monster. But he won’t live long because he will be killed by our main character Walter White.

Episode 7, season 1

Skyler’s sister, Marie, who stole always the things in the shop. She was stolen something for the Skyler’s baby. So Skyler discovered accidentally the jewelry was stolen and found Marie had an inertia stolen. But Marie did’t admit this, so Skyler doesn’t speak to Marie anymore. So the atmosphere for family is so strange this moment.
However, Tuco needed Walter and Jesse to produce a large amount of drugs in short time, but they didn’t have one raw material for producing meth. They entered into a warehouse to steal methyl-amine, who needed for making drugs. Finally they delivered on time.
In the delivery process, an assistant of Tuco said something that angered him, and Tuco killed the man immediately, in a violent way . By now, Walter and Jesse realized that they were getting involved in a horrible deal, and in a horrible cooperation, with a horrible man.

Episode 1, season 2

In the first season, after trading with Tuco, Walter and Jesse realized that how crazy and cruel he was. Jesse believes that Tuco’s black SUV in his neighborhood, but Walter thinks that Jesse was suspicious, until he sees the car parked near his own home. So he was afraid suddenly, like Jesse.
The solution that Jesse thinks is to kill him before Tuco kills them. But Walter has a better way for killing him —- using ricin, it’ s a poison, the person will die with no trace.
In the same time, Hank noticed that somebody have entered into the warehouse to steal raw materials out pf the security surveillance system, but he did not know who did it.

Episode 2, season 2

Walter and Jesse were abducted by Tuco and imprisoned in a small shack in the desert. Here is Tuco's secret hiding place. His uncle Tio lives here, who was handicapped, and who can only talk by ringing his fingers on the bell. (Tio will play an important role in the end of series ).
Walter wanted to poison Tuco with ricin, like he plans. But Tio saw it and tried to tell to Tuco. In this moment, Hank is trying to find Tuco, he is arrived and kill him.
Skyler is very worry about Walter, because he didn’t go home several days, so she posted the posters with Walter’s photo every where.

Episode 3, season 2

After escaping Tuco's desert cabin, Walter and Jesse worry about explaining to family how they were going these days. Walter suddenly thought of an idea,so Jesse and him go home separately. Walter went to the supermarket and took off his clothes in the corridor. He was taken to the hospital because of mental problems and told the family he could not remember what happened these days.
Jesse returned home, and when DEA found him, he said was with a a prostitute these days and he never goes out. The police did not believe this, and Tio wanted to tell the true to the DEA but he hates to cooperate with police. So finally Jesse was released. And they began to make drugs again.
