Discussion topic 5 - video games

So video games. I don’t know a lot of things about this topic because I don’t play video games. However, I play sometimes Fifa with my little brother but otherwise the only game which I like playing and often play it is Lara Croft on playstation and wii. I like this games because the personnage of Lara is very cool, is a women who have never afraid, she likes strong sensations and the challenge of the unknown. She makes it to find the tracks of his disappeared father. To make a success of it, she will have to confront enemis, in numerous riddles to find codes and key places, she is going to have to confront also differents animals like crocodile, tiger and big octopus and to pay attention to her and to her life which will be numerous times involvement. This games is very famous and there is numerous film about Lara Croft: TombRaider in cinema with Angelina Jolie who incarne Lara’s role and now it’s Alicia Vikander.

Video Games
I do not have much has to say has to say has this subject. When I was younger, I sometimes played during the long journeys or in the evening, with my brother and sister it often ended in fights.
Today I play sometimes with friends, are moments of competition generally accompanied by a giggle, with food, and with drinks : they are a good evening !

Video Games
There are many video games that it is for the different cosoles such as wii, and x box and all there is for all tastes. I read recently that the first video game console called The Odyssey was out in 1972, the game was a game of tennis very simple. For me, I don't like too much video games I never participate when I was younger I played with my twin brother at wii to mario and just dance with my friends but since I did not get back, I hear about it from time to time as for example football games but I have never tried and anyway. I think that video games are good for people who get bored and who don't know what to do but me is not my case.

I do not know much about this subject, I know some games but I do not play often. I sometimes play "call of duty" or "fifa" at friends' house to laugh, I like but I would not play every day or alone I would get tired easily. During the summer holidays but more often that of Christmas, I play the wii with my sister, I really like "Mario Kart" or "Mario and sonic at the Olympic Games" because there is competition at stake. Finally, when I was little I played Nintendo, I liked playing "monopoly" because no one wanted to play with me at the board game monopoly.

Looks like subjects are getting more intresting each time...12 yo I was a big player and would spend half of my daily time on the computer killing monster in order to build/craft new armors and swords the.....kill bigger things. Weirdo guy I was..But then I've understood where the real life was...

thats my 3rd favorite game, i'm happy like a lot of people to know that i'm a part of the old gen

wen i was younger i was a big geek and a no life, i spend my time on video games. i have more than 2000 hours on some games .And one days i descover life , it's more funny and interesting .But i always keep a fit on the video games world but i dosn't find a lot of fun when i play now i prefer watch pro player/streamers or play games whoh are not time-consuming (mmorpg are ) were i can play juste for fun or for one part.
But i also belive that games can icrease our memorie or reflex and some other brain ability.

My son has been playing Read Dead Redemption 2 every day since it was released.

Vidéo games, this is not the most interesting subject that we have find, but we have to work on it. I’m not a big player, I play mainly at Fifa because I love football, but I think that vidéo games are a bad thing. It could be boring or without interest. They do not make the humain being sociable. They are juste the best thing to be alone. You could play online, but this is a virtual life, there is nothing real. If you want to discover the world, don’t stay on your chair, move your body and go out. There is nothing difficult, you cannot become a social person or an intelectual person if you play at vidéo games every day.

Hey , like the past subject i don't really have inspiration Furthemore i don't really play at video games so I've chosen to talk about the impact they can have on children and what would be best from the point of view of my opinion.

The virtual world brings a lot of stimulation to the child, but it can not bring him the same wealth of experiences as the real world.
Without preventing your child from playing it, it is wise to carefully select what you put in his hands and control its use. Limiting and supervising the use of these games avoids the isolation of the child and his passivity in front of a screen. These games are an activity among all others and should never become the dominant activity of your child's day.

Video games is a hobby. It's a way of thinking about something else after doing it's duty or after spending a big day of work. I do not play too much video games despite that when I play there smaller I play a lot of sports games especially those of football such as FIFA. The video games contain us on our own, because rather than stay to play on a console in front of a screen, everyone should enjoy life like going out with friends.

Hi everybody ! Today we have to speak about the video games.
You know, for my part, I don’t play a lot of video games. I can play once or twice a week maximum. Even if I like to play it, I think that spend too much time on these games is a waste of time, you can do so much other things more interesting, more pertinent, more useful…
As far as I am concerned I think that it can be an entertainment but not a main occupation for your life.
I only play video games in the sport category as “FIFA” or “NBA 2K”, because I love to create a player and become one of the best or bring a team that I manage to the roof of the world.
That is the only reason I play. And, I forgot, beating my brother at these games is another reason.

Hello, I love play video games.I play the week-end when I return at my home because for my futur I don't have game console at my apartment. I play on Xbox and Wii. On Xbox I play at forza and where I take pleasure when I beat Leicester. And I play lot at Mario Kart with my brother because it create a rivality and a a little adrenaline.

Video games can be played thanks to different devices. We have the world famous console chains : Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox which use video game cd. These different brands have developed portable consoles (gameboy for example), allowing gamers to play anywhere without being plugged or cluttered by our big consoles. Nowadays, there are more and more pc players because a computer is more powerful, more functional (the games are direct downloadable and purchasable via a platform called steam) than a console. In addition, the games can be played with a keyboard and a mouse and even if desired with a controller. The scale of video games continues to grow and according to studies carried out in France in 2017, more than 92% of young people between the ages of 10 and 24 play video games. Video games have even become a profession. Some people record themselves directly playing on streaming platforms (the best known is twitch) or post videos on YouTube.
Video games are first of all perceived as a hobby, a way of entertaining and interacting with others behind a screen. Nowadays it is enormously competitive and the Esport has been created. World competitions take place on different games. The most famous are: League of Legends, CS: GO, Fortnite, World of Warcraft...
As a conclusion, we notice the video games scale in a few years. They are good ways to make money and to entertain people.

Hi, the video games are a leisure for me because they allow to spend the time but also to cross good time with my friends. It can also engender meetings with others when we play in multiplayer and online. The games to whom I oue the most at the moment is Fifa and fortnite. Since any young I play in video games and since any young I play has fifa because I adore soccer. Otherwise I have to play has full of game as Pokémon, Mario. I used to be a little geek. I played games all the time until I was about 12. I had fun, made friends, ennemies and learned how to talk like a little gangster. I was actually very good at video games too ! But, I realised that they took up too much time in my life, preventing me from going out and having real fun... I decided to sell all of my video games an consoles an quit it all overnight. And to this day I have not bought or played video games. I do occasionally play with my friends at their houses but that is it for me.

This week we are going to talk about video games.
Firstly, when i was younger, i used to play video games on consoles like the WII or nintendo DS but now i very rarely play video games because i do not find them interesting.
Video games are also very expensive so i prefer to do other things like watch series.
Finally, i think that video games can be good for people who want to pass the time and be distracted but some people can get obsessed with them and become completely cut off from the real world so it can be bad.
