Week 4 discussion - Pollution Empty Re: Week 4 discussion - Pollution

Post by moreau julien Tue Feb 05, 2019 2:07 pm

Pollution is the degradation of an ecosystem, we find pollution most often in large cities but also in the countryside because of factories. This has significant effects on health and the biosphere, as evidenced by exposure to pollutants and global warming that is transforming the Earth's climate and ecosystem. This in turn leads to different diseases.

Week 4 discussion - Pollution Empty Re: Week 4 discussion - Pollution

According to a report released recently by the World Health Organization, nine out of ten people breathe daily air too charged with fine particles.

Air pollution does not just cough. It kills. In mass.
Every year, 7 million people die in the world because they breathe air with too much fine particulate matter.
This is more than the cumulative deaths of AIDS, tuberculosis, diabetes and road accidents.
WHO notes that the first victims are unsurprisingly children.
Women are then the most affected especially in developing countries. Indeed some cooking equipment still use coal which seriously affects the users.
It can be noted that the "worst" countries in emission of pollution are India and China. However, China is trying to make progress by banning coal heating.
Unfortunately this is not the case of India who turns a blind eye to this emergency...
To convince as many countries as possible to declare war on this "invisible killer", WHO organized in Geneva the first world conference on air pollution and health.

Pollution remains a major issue for future generations.

Hi John, I think that pollution is a subject that must be addressed by all nations. Pollution is a problem for the planet. It is men who are responsible for pollution and it is therefore up to men to find solutions to reduce this pollution.
There are solutions such as not throwing anything into nature, sorting its waste, wasting nothing or avoiding taking your car for small trips.

Hello John. I will talk about difference of pollution in some country or city. In our city the pollution was not a big problem because we are in a rural city, but in the big city or big country pollution is a real problem. In Paris for exemple, the pollution greatly increases the outdoor temperature. This city and the other have to do Something to limit pollution.

Pollution is the degradation of the planet, usually done by humans, which disrupts the functioning of the ecosystem. There is pollution of the sea, water and air all over the world. Saudi Arabia is the most polluted country in the world.

Hi John today's subject is the polution, I gonna show you my point of view about it. The main problem in our world is the inegal development of several continent. The Europe was one of the first to be develop, the USA after and they pollute a lot, maybe because they are quite selfish haha. And now we have countries like India or China with more than 1 billion inhabitants for each what causes again a lot of pollution. And we will not speak of the operating way of the industries cause I'll be so sad... Brief the man is one of the greatest creation but we showed that we also can be the worst, the Earth lived more than 4 billions years without us and in something 200 years we destroyed it...

Hello John, I’m going to talk to you about an important topic, which is pollution, which is increasingly present in our lives. Pollutants can be caused by different factors, such as factories, cars, garbage thrown by men in nature, but there is a solution to reduce pollution such as avoiding taking a car and cycling or public transit instead. Humans should also avoid throwing waste into nature.

The carbon tax:
Yes, must our elected national and European ensure their income, they are very greedy, their lifestyle is disproportionate.
Pollution is just a weapon they use to subtract money from us.
It's really RACKET, but as it's government, we say taxes.
Yet, it is indeed racket that it is.
It is also slavery, you work, we cash, but we must leave you as little as possible, just enough not to revolt.
It's even vicious, manipulative ... etc
It's very, very sad.

Land pollution is a serious problem that impacts humans, animals, and the earth. Without taking measures now to reduce pollution levels, permanent changes to the land can occur. The adverse changes to the environment due to land pollution are subtle, but the problem is much bigger than it appears. Even though most people have a general understanding of pollution, they may not realize the significance of land pollution. Here is a look at land pollution, its causes, its impact, and solutions to the problem. There are several possible solutions to land pollution, including conservation. Conservation focuses on preserving natural resources, such as soil and plants. The efforts to conserve resources can start with utilizing sustainable practices. The negative consequences of land pollution can be greatly reduced with the cooperation of everyone. By making a conscious effort to contribute to a safer environment, the health and well-being of all can be protected!

In France, I think pollution has become an economic idea. Certainly, pollution is there, it’s a fact, and yes, I think we need to do things like value public transit or renewable energy to limit it, but I don’t agree that some people have to pay for pollution because they have a car that’s 15 years old or older and they can’t afford electric or hybrid cars.

Pollution has important effects on health and the biosphere, as evidenced by exposure to pollutants and global warming that transforms the Earth's climate and its ecosystem. Shocking images are filming right now, on social networks.Entire forests 10 years ago, nonexistent on this day, extinct species, changed countries ..

To put it simply, pollution is the degradation of an ecosystem. Most commonly, this degradation is a consequence of human activity. I did some research. Here is a map that ranks the regions of France according to the quality of the air we breathe.

In the modern world, different forms of pollution take oxygen from the air, rivers and oceans. In our cities, vehicles and factories swallow oxygen, and their fumes p poison the air with carbon dioxide. This urban pollution spoils the air we breathe. It is the major cause of diseases such as lung and skin cancers. If nothing is do done to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, most of us will die of these diseases. In the countryside, fertilisers wich which contain phosphorus and nitrogen spill over into rivers. As a result, fish is dying in increasing numbers, and aquatic life is suffocating from lack of oxygen.

In Royan, a climate strike was held on March 15, 2019, many high schools and collegians gathered together to manifest a rather special manner. They have been Walking around the streets, on the beach.. in order to collect the waste. They also gathered at lunch to eat without pollution.

Hellooooo,
I will talk about pollution.
Today, in many countries the pollution is invasive, indeed for example in some cities of Paris where people make fun of putting their garbage in the garbage.
For our planet to be clean all people must make efforts to improve all that.
