The United States are a federal and presidential republic. The politcal system of the United States is based on three fundamental principles : the Republic, the democracy and the federalism. He is defined by the constituion of 1787 and his 27 amendments. At the level of the republic, the creation of the United States at the end of the XVIII e century took place in the context of the war for independence against the monarchical regime of the British metropolis. Moreover at the level of the democracy, the are the executive power, a legislative power, a judicial and political power. Finally at the level of the federalism.
