Hello, Mr. Cox,
I chose to watch the series "Chicago Med" because it is a new series since 2015, with already two seasons. It is an American series that resembles other series such as "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago Police Department".

Chicago Med tells the story of the staff of a Chicago hospital. And their mission is to save lives, confronting themselves with extreme medical cases. Only their courage and compassion allow them to face the sometimes insurmountable challenges of medicine, as well as their family problems such as Dr. Rhodes who has a very difficult relationship with his father.

Derailed

Dr. Connor Rhodes is the main actor of the series.
The series begins on the day of the inauguration of the new Chicago Med emergency service.
But at the same time a train derails and Rhodes the new doctor of the emergencies present in the accident arrives in full cardiac massage of Jorge Mendelez. Connor Rhodes's father donates $ 1 million to the hospital for the construction of a new pyschiatry service called "Elizabeth Rhodes", named after his deceased wife.
Then Connor tells his father that he never told his sister what it really was that night or their mother died. She is not dead in suicide due to illness and Connor knows.

Choices

Touched by the health of Jennifer Baker, Will proposes to him to integrate the clinical trial of a laboratory. But the young woman, who asked not to be revived, refuses.
For his part, Doctor Downey intervenes at the block on one of the patiens of Rhodes and proposes to him to become his assistant, but he rejects the offer. She suffers from hereditary illness and her father too. His father became addicted to fight this disease. His daughter finally understands why he was addicted.

Connor finally decides to go see and talk with his sister.


Disorder

The JCAHO, the Hospitals Control Commission of Chicago, is on an inspection visit to Chicago Med.
Connor and Dr. Downey operate a patient who has already undergone heart operation.. This operation is very risky. But Connor is going to get there.
Managing a radioactive seed expelled by a patient disrupts emergencies.
Despite the incidents, the JCAHO gives a good score and reputation in Chicago Med.

Withdrawal

Sometimes you have to do what the patient wants by going against medicine. The patient has the right to choose. And sometimes this can save him.
Connor operates a patient using a pump between the heart and the lungs, but the patient was against it (his religion forbids it). Connor saves this man by going against his desire. He learns that Downey is going to be operated on by the liver.
As for Nathalie, she suffers from broken heart syndrome and must move on to something else now. She must continue to live without her deceased husband.
