Subject 1 discussion - what do I expect from STAPS

Your first topic is to tell me what you expect STAPS and university to be like and what you hope to gain from this year. At least 50 words.

I entered in STAPS University with a specific purpose. I would like to become a teacher. My principal expectation was that I will do a lot of sports but not much sciences. Since today I can confirm that I will work on sciences more than anything because I am not that good in this subjects. I wish I will have my semester and my first year done without much trouble.

I come from a Hospitality and catering school, so I knew that I'll need to hard working in sciences. But it does not bother me because I like sciences. I come in STAPS to do sport too. So in one hand i come in STAPS to learn sciences of sport and in the other hand I come to do and learn sport. After the first year of my University degree I want to postulate for physio studies. But if I don't have it I would like to become fencing master after the 3 years.

I integrate STAPS to be close to people, and I see in this degree an opportunity to help them in this new sedentary society. That's why I wanted to become a fitness trainer before I heard that we can apply for a bachelor of physiotherapy, and i see in this a good chance for me to take care of people.

For me I am in staps to practice different sports. But unfortunately I know very well that I would have more trouble with scientific subjects. At university I appreciate having more autonomy. In one year I think I will improve as much as possible in sport and to have a way of working more academic.

I don’t really know what I want to do in my future. I know since ever that I want to work in the sport sector. So I was interested by STAPS and I liked the formation, differents subjects (More differents sports, new science that I never practice like neurology or physiology...). However I like STAPS because we are working severals subjects focus on the sport.

For me, STAPS is a mix of sports and sciences. In high school, I did a science baccalaureate so I like these subjects and sport in general is my passion. So I think this sector correspond well with me. What I also like is that all subjects are treated in connection with the sport. I already have an idea for next year, I would like to choose the sport management option.

I integrate STAPS after my baccalaureate scientific because I like sports in general and sciences and I was thinking that that was the best way to do either, I have friends or teammate who have been in STAPS last year and what they told me about this formation interest me too.

I wanted to integrate staps after a scientific baccalaureate (more specifically in engineering science). The staps sector therefore has little to do with what I did last year. But when I wanted to integrate this field because sport interests me a lot and later I would like to be able to make it my job later. This is why after the L2 I would like to integrate the sports management sector

I went to STAPS to become a physiotherapist as well as to discover several sports where I never had the opportunity to do. I've always wanted to work in sports and treat people, so physiotherapy is the best alternative for me. In addition, discovering new materials such as bio-mechanics interests me even more.

I went to staps because I like sports and sports science. I’ve been in club sports since I was 5 years old. I play football. I did a baccalaureate S so science (anatomy, physiology,...) is a field that interests me strongly. Since small I love science.

hello, I'm answering your question. Why did you choose staps? I decided to go to STAPS to try to become a soccer coach because I discovered this passion two years ago because I was a soccer coach in my high school. I hope to gain as much knowledge as possible

This year, I want to be enlightened about what I want to do in L2, between the options and also after STAPS. I also want to learn new sports and new subjects. I also chose STAPS because it corresponds to a lot of jobs that are interessant to me : teacher, gymnastics coach because gymnastics is my sport, or mental preparator.

I wanted to go STAPS because sine I was very little have Always wanted to be a sports teacher on a sports educator. My dream is to do a job related to sport so than I can Teach others everything I have learned throughout my life.

I want to learn good and usefull information for my life, i want to perform in my sport with technical and security whith this. And to learn to the other this practise. And i want to learn the base of the other sport. And i like too the anatomy of human body.

I expect from staps to keep self confidence. I want to learn about sports and topic. I want to develop myself and become a new person.

I hope to gain more responsability and experience. I hope to got my licence for my life. It’s important to got diplomas for find a job.
For the moment, i don’t now what i whant to do. I don’t now what future reserve me. I hope good things !

I entered STAPS this year with the goal of becoming a physiotherapist.
Last year I did my first year of medicine at the same university and not wanting to repeat I then decided to combine my passion for sport with my studies so that I could try again to become a physiotherapist.
I also hope by entering this sector to surpass myself in all sports and to see an evolution.
And I am happy to be able to play sports in my studies.

I wanted to join STAPS because sport has been my passion since I was a child. Indeed, during this year I want to specialise in each sport in order to develop new knowledge but also to know the sciences that revolve around sport. I would like to go into management or teaching.
