"Advertising you'll love!" ahah very provocative John!
For me it's funny to see these ads today,
I don't have much more to say, they correspond to an era. They seem abnormal nowadays, and rightly so, but normality is changing. Future generations will certainly think the same about the advertisements we make today.
These advertisements show that mentalities are changing, and quite rapidly in my opinion.

As Adélaïde, I found this thread funny because we're so far away from this nowadays !
It shows us how much women are the only point of interest in the world
we are the favorite subject of discussion for men, I see no other option 
Even if, thanks to progress and social justice, we use to see more inclusive ads, there are still big mistakes... let me show you one that made a really bad buzz maybe last year, for H&M :

When we see women still participating in those type of advertising, and we think "she can do whatever she wants, it's her choice..."...when I see the vintage ads I think that maybe women who still are in sexist ads are not totally conscious about what they are doing :O
