i think that e-sport should not be called sport, everyone who say video game is a sport , he should read the definition of sport
wait i search for it :
Sport includes all forms of competitive physical activity
you see physical activity not using your hands and say it's a sport, for me it's just a video game, and i'll prefer that my childre go to the forest and run than stay in front of a TV
video game is a game and sport it's a physical game and that's the difference for me

Hello John, I think I didn't quite understand this week's instructions    

E-sport is a fairly recent phenomenon and although there are many people practising it in France, I don't think many people understand it very well.

I don't agree with Ismaël when he says that e-sport should not be called that. Indeed, what is a sport? I find it a bit reductive to say that a sport can only be considered as such when people sweat or run behind a ball.

I think e-sport can be compared to Formula 1 or chess. In both cases "sportsmen and women" have to train very hard for several hours a day in order to participate and win competitions.

Of course, e-sport does not allow for physical activity and physical exercise. But, the training is really intensive and the requirements to become a Champion are as high as for Olympic champions. I am very surprised at how much money some players can earn in a single match   .

It must also be said that video games are gaining more and more followers years after years and we probably hear more and more about e-sport phenomenon !
