Group 1 Articles for discussion

This is the thread to place the links for your articles that we are going to discuss each week. The articles should be posted before the weekend so that everyone has a few days to read, think about and prepare for discussion of the article. You can choose any type of article that you want on any subject. As with last year enter the session with open minds and discuss as we would between friends .

Something I didn't ask but I think the person who posts the article should include a short vocabulary list of difficult/unusual or important words found within the article.

First week it's Imane, Hanae and Lucas.

These sessions depend on you. Both the leaders who choose the articles and those of you who are reading them. If you want to get the most out of your English lessons then you need to put the effort and preparation into them. I know you will.

Hey guys, let's talk about sex !
I know this subject can be a little touchy for some people so I want to be clear that I'm not waiting for you to talk about your sexual life and preferences, no one will leave the classroom with more traumas lol. The conversation will stay very general, I really want to turn the conversation around how sex is viewed by society nowadays and I want your opinion on that.
Reading my article is a plus if you want an overview of what we're going to talk about during class, but it's actually not really necessary. All I want you to think about is the place of sex in society, the relation between sex and feminism, the hook-up culture and whatever crosses your mind ! no tabou les loulous
