Semester 2. First discussion thread - Resolutions

Hi Everybody,

So the first topic is "Resolutions".

Have you made a new year resolution? What is it? What do you think about resolutions in general? Are these types of targets good for people? What does it say about a person who makes one and succeeds or fails? You can comment on other people's resolutions and you can suggest resolutions for your classmates. I expect about 50 words from each of you.

I don't like this term of new or good resolutions for the coming year, on the one hand because these "resolutions" are never made in most cases and on the other hand I don't think we should wait be the 1st January to wonder what resolutions could be taken to the following time ... I rather think it's a question that should arise quotidient.

My only resolution will have my Licence 1 ,
It's difficult.
Then i don't take a resolution it's supid the resolution of the new year because we are master of our destiny.

I have not made any resolutions this year and I've never do it because I think it's a lie. I do not know many people who keep their resolutions.
But if I had to have a resolution, I would work more for my second semester.

For this new year, I would like to succeed my second semester and try to not get upset so much for nothing. And of course, I would like to win a lot of money for my wallet but why it, I must work hard this summer.
I hope for you that Jamie Vardy will quickly come back from his injury otherwise Leicester will trumble.

First of all, Hello,
For this year I don't really have good or news résolutions because I think if we want to do something, we can do it at any time of year. However, I do not criticize people who do it, it's great to set goals in life, but choosing the beginning of the year to do that, I think it's a little ridiculous. It's just my opinion and I'm agree if you don't think like me, it's normal. We live in a country where freedom of expression is an important thing.

As for things I wish for this year, happiness and good health for my family and friends, then, I hope I have my L1.

For 2016 I wish more progress in Water Polo, having my first year sports school, obtain my degree coach, the health of the handicapped son of my sister ameliorate, and ameliorate the level of my brass band.

the first day of the year we say wegoing to take all new resolutions but when you get in late January we forget those resolutions. But, I have many resolutions as pass my firts year, be nicer to my boyfriend, and principally stop drink ! I do believe me

At midnight on 1st January 2016 I was in Central park, it's already a good year to start.
My resolutions this years are especially to have my first year license.
