Stranger Things ( Netflix Series)

This is a series that takes place in the town of Hawkins in the United States in 1983. A city that is renowned for its tranquility. This series put on stage a group of geeks (Mike, Dustin, Lucas, and Will) aged 12 years, all passionate by science and games, and whose future looks very promising. However, one evening when he had to make an evening with friends, young Will suddenly disappears in the barn which is in the back of his house, and without leaving any clues behind him, from that moment will start an adventure for groups of children.
Saddened and deeply troubled mother (Joyce) and brother (Jonathan) Will, will begin to actively investigate the disappearance. They will soon realize that strange things are happening in their home, supernatural manifestations occur in their presence ...

I've watched it too! It was amazing, can't wait for the next season (at least I hope there will be a second season)

Maïa i can say that you have good taste in series.
In many article on the internet, they say that creators are waiting for started filming the second season, the players remain the same (and much better), but it goes to another era.
For those who have not seen this series I highly recommend you, this is a series that remembers the film The Goonies (old time), mixed with a horror movie atmosphere. There are only 8 episodes, but the first to the last one remains fascinated by this series.

This is my favorite series this year .. I like the fact that the main characters are young people aged 12 years and we are immersed in the world of the 80 .. It changes !!

The atmosphere is scary and the story is really original. Having children in lead is unusual (except for some movie destined to children).

I love horror and suspense movies that's why I have chosen this series. The plot is really interesting and original. I like the characters, especially the police chief, who seems very strange at the beginning of the series. I also love the courage of Will's mother (Joyce), who wants to do everything to find her son. I have watched three episodes and I can't wait to watch the next. The little girl "Eleven" is so strange ..

watched the first episode. Good 80's feel, perhaps a bit slow but worth a try. Onto the second.

Watched the first 3 episodes. love the music and the kids games - I remember them well. I admit I played dungeons and dragons when I was young.

Really enjoyed the 2nd and third episodes but left with a question at the end of the third that I want to know the answer to. Not tonight though! Maybe tomorrow evening I'll have time for eps 4.

Great story and some really interesting underlying themes. I could create a whole year's course on the themes exploited in this series.

I'm feeling so sad for El at the moment.

It would be nice to have classes incorporating aspects of that era. This series is truly immersive. Already through the atmosphere it gives off, but in some details, such as developing pictures in laboratories, or the use of telephone cable. I think it has its charm. At home in Grenoble I still have a polaroid lying around, and that I keep. I go out in the evening with family or close friends.
I will not spoiler the end, but it is still very significant.

I just finished it yesterday and that serie's kind of amazing !

About the second season:

I loved the first series - one of the best for 2016 - but I'm not sure if a second will work. Part of the beauty of the first was that we didn't know there was a second so everyone/anyone could die - think Fargo - I'll certainly give it a go but I reckon I'll be disappointed.

The creators of the second season promised to stay on the same bases as the first season in term of atmosphere. They do not want to modify it because that is what makes the beauty of the series. However, i am puzzled as to how they plan to evolve the series. It only remains to wait until june next, to have the verdict.

I love this serie. I love the 80's vibes and I think that's one of my top 3 series. I agree with the fact that the first episode is a bit slow, however after.... BOUMMMMM! I couldn't stop mysekl watching it until the last episode.
