TED TALKS: How America's public schools keep kids in poverty
Since racial discrimination still existed in the United States. In the education system, black and brown children whose parents are poor are not entitled to a quality education. Under this system all that is good is for white children so the parents live in uptown. This system is proportional to the financial capacity of the person claiming to education. The narrator tells when she was young has certainly benefited from a quality education that these parents were well boxes but colors of friends in the neighborhood did not have the opportunity to patronize these establishments whose quality education is renowned. Now it has become an educator, she realizes that the system is always the same: the educational desegregation. Yet the public school system in this country has been built, bought and paid for trade generated by trade in slaves and slave labor. While African Americans were enslaved and prevented from schooling, their stabilized job the very institution to which they were excluded.
