David Gallo is an American oceanographer and Director of Special Projects at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. For more than 25 years, David explorate oceans, and participate in development of new technologies and scientific discoveries that shape our view of planet earth.
In this video, David shows us differents astonishments animals he saw during these 2:30 of exploration (octopus, squid, cuttlefish, barracuda ...)
Sometimes, the fish have bioluminescences which serve as protection or to attract other fish. Moreover, medicine uses bioluminescences to hypnotize.
During his presentation, David said that only 3 percent of the oceans have been discovered.
