New Toblerone Shape

Mondelez International has changed the toblerone's shape. Toblerone is a famous swiss chocolate which is well-known in the world.
The weight has changed also : 400g and 170g bars are now 360g and 150g.
Many people were unhappy with the new form and ask to the brand to change it.
Example of discontented persons on twitter : "Hi @Toblerone I opened my chocolate and noticed half the triangles are missing. Can you please post them to me? Thanks!"
"Now the shape of Toblerone has been messed about with.
Will the pain of 2016 ever end?"
"The new #Toblerone.
Wrong on so many levels. It now looks like a bicycle stand.#WeWantOurTobleroneBack."

haaa stupid marketers!!

I think it was a stupid idea to change the shape but i'm sure that everyone will forget about that very quickly i think it's funny to see how people are shocked

I love Toblerone and they are known for their shape. seems a strange marketing move.

This is wired, why changing a product that is well known for it's shape.
I am wondering if they just wanted to hear out the consumers and to push them to be more engaged. But still it make no sense. Anyways, it's not their best marketing strategy.

I love Tobleron but I don't like the new shape. Luckily they didn't change the packaging

Yes, I am totally agree with you. The marketing team is very unqualified to do that. Many persons appreciate the original shape of Toblerone. You can't change it !

Do you think they will change the recipe back? Because people are really angry at Toblerone, sooo maybe the shape will return..

"Scottish MSPs have debated taking action against the new shape of Toblerones in change blamed on Brexit. Colin Beattie from the SNP lodged a motion, branded a waste of parliamentary time by rivals, over the decision to widen the gaps between the segments of the chocolate bar.
Toblerone manufacturer Mondelez International announced the change last week and blamed it on rising food prices. The decision sparked anger among fans of the triangular snack.
Mr Beattie's Wednesday motion called on the UK Government to take "speedy action to rectify the change" and said it was "emblematic of the devastating consequences that Brexit could bring".
Liberal Democrat MSP Mike Rumbles hit back with a string of confectionary-based puns, saying: "Toblerone won't be the only chocolate bar that will change as companies crunch the numbers"
