Is someone watching anime ?

Anime are japanese animations : movies/series

Some of you may know I'm a huge fan of japanese animation
I think I spend almost all my free time watching some.
I watch them for different reasons like quality, stories, fun....
Right now I'm watching Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood because they're going to release a live action movie next year (it will be lame i think...) but I have a long list of things to watch after that...
About movie my favorites are Ghibli movies and Mamoru Osoda movies but some not released in France or not famous are great too !

I would have soooo many things to say about it but as long as I don't know if it would interest someone I prefer to stop now but if you like it too : join me and we can start a sect ! (just kidding don't worry !)

I didn't really like this type of animation before I watched "My Neighbour Totoro". This movie was like a dream and you are to childhood !

I like this kind of of movie, but I'm not a big Fan, I don't remember the name of the film I saw (sorry).
But I like the (weird) world of this kind of annimation.
Can you give me more name of movie I should Watch?

Yes it's great ! If you liked it you can try Pony, Chihiro or Ame to Yuki : same kind of story

sure i'm planning to watch it during the holiday
the subject is not really my jam but i want to watch at least the first movie before the live action movie is released...

It was big a few years ago.

The Chinese and Japanese seem wild about BoJack Horseman at the moment.

I haven't watched anime since my son was young and we watched the entire Dragonball Z together.

That anime is in my to watch list ^^ but I don't know when I'll be eager to watch it, because my problem is : when i start an anime after i'm only watching anime for a full week or month and i can sleep at 2 or 3 because an episode only last 20minuts and so what's 20 minutes more when it's already 1h30 ? ^^"

I have to confess i watch Pokémon Sun and moon (season 20), and I like it... I know you don't like the animation but you know i can't not like Pokémon it's one of the only thing i remember well from my childhod, plus all the time i spent playing the games with my brother too.

I also watch Dragon ball Super. the firt episodes were not really good in terms of animations and scenario. Because it was just the movies that were seperated in several episodes.
But now there's been 2 different arc, with the tornament between universe 6 and 7. At the moment there are a few fillers with the come back of Great Sayaman. You can find different spoilers of the new episodes to come, they seem to be great but i don't want to be spoiled !

Honestly i tried to motivate myself to watch DBS but honestly i'm not found of the concept.... I just can't right now...
Also I'm very suprised cause i have a shojo moment right now... for the holidays i only watch shojo or romantic comedy. Who would know ???
I also used to watched sport anime during the holidays with my brothers : as you may know i usually hate sport anime : what's going on with me ??

NO you are not alone yara , i am not interested as well. But i will talk with Aurelie and maybe watch one or tow episodes of her favorite anime because i am curious.

Well I really like animes. Not like before though. I used to really like those to the point that I wanted to be a mangaka or work for Ghibli studio in my early days hahaha.

For those of you who don't know mangaka is a term used for people who draw manga

My favorite one I guess will always be Naruto series. I do think their won't be any manga like that one. The only problem is that the anime takes too long and there are too many "middle stories". Those that doesn't have anything to do with the real story (the one in the manga).
Still i really love it.

oh yeah ! I love Fullmetal alchimist ! Surely one of the best !

Also one of my favourite is Death note. Most of the time animes are different from the manga; But in this case it was really faithful !
It talks about note book that can kill people by just writting their full names on it.
The concept really stands out to me. And i really think it is worth watching. No jokes, you really feel smart once you watch it haha

Actually i didn't like manga and anime when i started to learn japanese I almost hated it ! I loved the music back then : i was very found of jpop
Now i don't listen jpop anymore and i love manga and anime... weird

Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood is soooo great ! I didn't like the first serie fullmetal alchemist though...
But i just can't handle the ending...
