Thursday 8th December

Hi everyone,

Just in case you didn't hear me in class

Next Thursday you don't have to come to class between 9 and 12 but I will be there in case anyone wants to go through their CV, cover letter or anything else they need for English. We will all meet at the Jardins de Kashmir just after 12 o'clock. I've agreed a price of 15 euros per head with the restaurant which will cover a starter - a mix of pakoras and bhajis for everyone to try - main course - a lamb curry, a chicken curry and two vegetable curries, potato and cauliflower and Aubergine - and dessert - ice cream/sorbet or indian patisserie. The price doesn't include drinks so if you want a beer or wine that'll be down to you. The idea is that we sit together trying all the food and sharing a meal together before Christmas and talking in English. It's pretty certain that you'll never all be together like this again in your lives! So just enjoy the time.

We have three sessions of English in the new year - 2 in January and 1 in February - that's especially for Lorry

I'd also like to thank you for being a great group over the last 2 years. You've "played the game" in English and it's been my pleasure to have been able to share a little of my life with you all and be a small part of yours.

Do you want to make us crying? Thank you John to been our "crazy" english teacher, the only one of my life (or maybe the second haha ). This was the first time I loved to go to english lessons, and to spend my time with you.

Awwww John !!OKAY.First, let me thank you for this incredible year. Maybe i wasn't there from the very beginning but i assure you that i enjoyed your class very much and had a pleasure to meet a great English teacher like you. Honestly speaking, your teaching method is amazing and am sure that u did inspired not only me but all of us. I still can't believe that English class is only once a week, it would be perfect if we had more hours with J. secondly,Thank you for putting your time to organize this outing , it means so much for all of us. A great spirit, Cant wait for this gathering and for trying Indian food for the very first time in my life. Why i feel that this is goodbye ?? John this year is not over yet so you will not get rid of us that easily huh !LOL! 3 MORE CLASSES TO GO <WOHOU>

Sadly I can't come and join you the 8th, I'll be in Briare City ! But I'm a bit jealous, I wished we had done it last year !

(And I agree with Habibakhairy your post sounds like after we share a big fat meal together, we'll never see each other again)

Thanks to everyone who went - which was everyone. It was very pleasant. I'm sorry that Maxine and Mike couldn't attend but I was very happy that most of you talked in English throughout the meal. I wish that I could have cloned myself for the meal and had the enjoyment of talking to all of you and not only those on my table.

Good look with the end of the semester and have a great holiday.
