Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
Monday, october 2nd 2017 in Las Vegas was held a violent and inhuman shooting. The shooter is a 63 years old man. He open the fire since the window of an hotel at 400m of a country concert. This shooting is for some people linked at the gun law in place in USA. All americans can purchase fire guns in contraiment country as france where carrying a weapon is not allowed.
I don't what i can add to describe this event.. Testimonials talk about themselves..

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
This week, a violent shooting was passed and killed 59 persons and injured 515 persons. But this tragic event is not the only in USA. There are many other but this is the deadliest. Sometimes these event are against some people and sometimes this is just the result to let crazy man or girl with weapons. I remember a shooting in a cinema where a man is enter in and reproduce the scene of Batman and shoot on everybody, or even in a school making a dozen of child death.
Maybe should we review the laws about bearing of arms...

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
I would like to speak about the gun law in the United States. The law was organized in 1911 in the state of New York. Guns are dangerous because for example in the United States, there are 12 632 murders which were committed by a gun in 2007. This gun drive the violence. Moreover, this week, a violent shooting was committed in Las Vegas where there were 59 deaths and many wounded people.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
I would talk about one importante notion for the United States, who is a question : gun or not gun ? We can come up this because, a possession of guns has an influence in people. Because they used that for various raisons, for example to defend them, to attack people who don't like, an accident... We can talk about many examples ; a gunfire had taken place in 2001, alongside was a towers attacks, and this fusillade was terrified all the american. Other example : one children killed his mother with a gun in a supermarket. But should not be confused terrorist attack and shooting « daily ».

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
In the US, the problem of the guns is permanent. The list of the dates which marks the shootings in the US continues. First October 2017, a man of 64 years old makes fifty-eight kills in Las Vegas. I think that this problem have to be more expected from the government, even if that it is in in the center of the news, because a lot of blood and traumatics moments for the american people can be banned and don't have to expend the list.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
This week we have for subject the shooting de los Angeles. There are 58 deaths and approximately 500 wounded persons, At the origin of the most murderous slaughter of the recent history of the United States a 64-year-old retired man, Stephen Paddock. However, unknown of police services, Stephen Paddock had established artillery made of 49 rifles and handguns, explosives and thousands of ammunitions. Not less than 23 of his firearms were discovered during the hotel Mandalay Bay that he had reserved. Then the real question is to know how a man can contain so many weapons at his home without the police watches something...

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
A gunman holed up in a hotel room high above the Las Vegas Strip fired down upon thousands of people attending a music festival Sunday night, in a brutal attack blamed for at least 59 deaths, a law enforcement official says. In the mass shooting and panic that ensued, 527 people were injured.
Every year in the united states thousands of deaths are due to firearms attacks, because unlike France, the united states have the right to carry firearms.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
The firearms are part of the daily life of Americans. Indeed, 42% of them live in a home with a weapon and seven out of ten have already shot with a gun. There are two types of weapons ports: "open carry", ie when the weapon is visible to the naked eye, and "concealed carry", when the weapon is concealed. California, Florida, Illinois, New York and South Carolina forbid the "open carry" for handguns, 31 states allow to carry a handgun in the eyes of everyone without any license. For concealed weapons, A distinction is made between the twelve states where no license is required from those known as "Shall Issue" and "May Issue". States "Shall Issue" generally grant licenses to those who meet a series of conditions contrary to the "May Issue" states.

week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
This week, i'm going to talk about the shooting in Las Vegas in United States on first October. Indeed, an old man ( 64 years old) kills 58 people with a gun. He places himself on the 32nd floor of a building and shoots at the crowed of a concert. This leaves open the question of the legality of weapons in United States. This killing was the biggest in the last years in America.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
Today, I will tell you about the shootings in the US and in the other countries.
I'm horrified to see such things happening again today, after all that has already happened in other countries like France or England. But when it can be seen that in some state of the usa, the right to own and carry a firearm is allowed is quite contradictory. Especially in the US, there are 12,632 murders committed with a firearm, 613 people were killed accidentally by firearm in 2007. And more than 2,000 miners have been accidentally killed in the last ten years. The numbers speak for themselves, it's pretty scary! Finally, the biggest killing that never take place on the American territory took place on October 1st in Las Vegas, a 64-year-old man opened fire from the top of his hotel room, on a crowd in the open air that listened to a concert, report : 59 deaths and 527 wounded persons.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
Today, I want totalk about the worse killing in the story of U.S. The man who did that was a rich man, who won a lot of money in the games of Las Vegas. He is probably mad. Al Quaida claims that this man was a member of this organization but the CIA thinks that is for scare the US people.

Today, in the United States of America, they are a lot of mass shooting. Recently, the first of october of 2017, in Las Vegas, they are 59 deaths while people to take advantage in a concert.
unfortunately, the americans people can have a weapin easily, thanks to a law which is the 2nd amendement. Former president, Barack Obama wanted to remove this law, but they are too much lobby in favour of the carrying of weapons.

The attacks of September 11, 2001, were four suicide bombings perpetrated on the same day in the United States in less than two hours between 8:14 am and 10:03 am by members of the Al-Qaida jihadist network, northeast of the country and killed 2,977 people. Operation Bojinka is seen as a precursor to these attacks, committed two days after the suicide bombing that killed the commander Ahmed Shah Massoud.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
In today's world, Islamic terorism is affecting every country in the world. Unfortunately, the United States left the countries most affected by this kind of terrorism. We can take the example of September 11, 2001 with the collapse of the two twin towers. This attack caused several hundred deaths and injuries. Unfortunately, the United States since 2001, in the US, the number of terrorist attacks from white supremacists is far superior to those claimed by jihadists. The drama of Charlottesville where a person lost his life Saturday overthrown by a white supremacist is not the first of its kind, far from it. According to statistics from New America, an American think-think founded in 1999, attacks from the extreme right even surpass those committed by Islamist jihadists. Since September 11, 2001, 11 attacks claimed as Islamist were perpetrated on American soil while 33 others were launched by extreme right-wing extremists. They are listed on the map below, in green the attacks coming from the Islamist movement, in red those of white supremacists. However, since September 11, 2001, Islamist attacks have claimed more victims. In 16 years, they killed 95 people and injured 289 others. At the same time, 75 people lost their lives after facing an attack by nationalist extremists, 48 were injured. From 2001, after the September 11 attacks, until 2016, attacks by white, neo-Nazi, nationalist and anti-government supremacists had caused more deaths in the United States. This was before the attack by the Islamic State (EI) group in a gay nightclub in Orlando on June 12, 2016, when 49 people lost their lives.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
Guns are in the history of the USA because when the america was discovered, the people who discovered america was using weapons to kill the real residents of the country to take their places.
But Obama wanted to reduce the use of guns in america but the congress don't let him do...
That's why it allows to some people to have weapons in america and make shootings.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
It is the most deadly shooting in US history when an armed man killed 49 people and wounded 53 in the early morning of June 12 at the Pulse Disco in Orlando. An officer who works in uniform at the club hears shots and engages the shooter. The officer felt as if he was caught short, he withdrew from the club and asked for help. Two SWAT agents in a nearby patrol car are among the units that respond and a shootout ensues. Members of the SWAT explode an explosive to drill a hole in the wall, but this is only partially effective. They then use an armored vehicle to drill the last hole in the wall. But that only leads them to the corridor, not to the toilet. They continue to try to break using the vehicle. As the SWAT agents attempt to break through another wall, the suspect leaves the bathroom and starts firing at them. The police retaliate and kill the fire.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
Terrorism is present all over the world. But the US is particularly affected, acts of terrorism that multiplied in countries where weapons easier to buy than medication. 27 21 June 2017, a Canadian of Tunisian origin, wounded a policeman with a knife shouting Allah Akbar at Bishop Airport in Michigan. And 1st october 2017, in Las Vegas, Stephen Paddock shoots from a 32nd floor hotel on people attending a country music concert, the record of the attack is 58 deaths and 515 injured, the killer then killed himself. The Islamist character of the attack is, however, uncertain at the moment.

Re: week 4 - The shootings in the U.S.
The debate about carrying a weapon restarts in America after the terrible attack in Orlando. Statistics show that the total of people that have been shot dead in America is superior than the people that left us in military conflitcs. More than 30 000 people die each year by a gunfire. We can see an evolution because some stats now ban people to carry a weapon, but not all of them...
