Week 6 - The English course Empty Week 6 - The English course

Post by Admin Mon Oct 16, 2017 2:24 pm

For this week I want your feedback on the English course this first semester:

What did you like most? What did you dislike most? What did you think to the video exercises? What did you think to the class session? What did you think about the homework? What should I change? For the second semester what would you like added?

Week 6 - The English course Empty Engish Course

Post by Alice Dalger Thu Oct 19, 2017 3:40 pm

I appreciated the atmosphere of class, the interaction professor to students, even if I do not participate a lot..
What disturbs me most it is to pass in the oral but it is a part of the work.
I find that great of to make for us documents complete thanks to videos and to give us to the end an hour the scenario, because he allows us to evaluate, at the level of our understanding.
The given homework is regular and obliges us to work our Englishman what is not unimportant..
I have no ideas concerning a change in your course, as for me, here is years when I had no English so constructed courses cheers

What I like: you are a funny and good teacher (the best teacher of English in Champagnolles for sure! Even if you deprived me a point Crying or Very sad ), thus English courses are more attractive and more interesting.
The exercises videos are good even if it's sometimes difficult I think.
I don't think that the homework has a big utility, except this forum which is cool.
For the second semester you should give me 2 points every time you deprive me one What a Face

What I liked the most during your classes is your humor and your way of animating the class. What I hate most is the transition to oral. The video exercises were enriching with a good atmosphere in the room. The questions were affordable in relation to the subject. I enjoyed the homework on the forum because for once we could talk about us, our dreams, our opinions. A thing not appreciated before between teacher and students.

There is nothing to change or add.

Week 6 - The English course Empty Re: Week 6 - The English course

Post by Honorine Mousset Sat Oct 21, 2017 7:10 pm

For the first semester in English, I think that we have good progress with only two hours of classes per week.

I found that the course method was fine. The oral comprehension was very useful, it allowed me to better understand and it is also a good idea to give the written script to at the same time train in reading comprehension.
However, I think that the current correction was not very useful and that it would have been necessary to work on written expression with grammar and vocabulary.
Also, a great atmosphere and participation in the class, it was nice.

For the second semester, I would like to continue the oral comprehension but also to work more on writing with more vocabulary and grammar.

hi everybody, for me the first semester was cool, the atmosphere of the class was good, the fact of work in half group, one in the class and one in the computer room was beneficial for everybody. I think the homework were perfect because it's not a complicated homework, but, we work anyway our english. The mixture between the oral comprehension and the forum was perfect for me, because this allows to work the comprehension and, in the same time, the expression. I think, for the second semester, maybe, work the oral expression, can be beneficial also.

Week 6 - The English course Empty Re: Week 6 - The English course

Post by Camille Pierre Sun Oct 22, 2017 2:24 am

Hello, this period in English was very well, I had many difficulties but owed to certain problems. I tried to speak even if my English is very bad.The exercises asked was good, not too hard and allows of credit note of the vocabulary in more. The evaluation is difficult for me, but you should change nothing, I like very much the group in English and I have the impression to improve.
I like very much when the class is divided into two because I am less afraid of speaking in reduced staff.
You motivate a lot and your sense of humor allows people as me to speak without fear. Thank you for that!

Week 6 - The English course Empty Re: Week 6 - The English course

Post by gaétane soulet Sun Oct 22, 2017 11:53 am

Hello
What I like most about this course is the atmosphere because compared to the other professors you are very "cool " because you laugh with us and you did not take your head. There is nothing that displeases me except of course the fact of speaking in English. I find that sometimes some videos are hard to understand because sometimes they are not Englishmen who speak then their accents are really complicated. For now, homework is easy because you don't really need a lot of knowledge but just listened well.
Don't change anything for the second semester.

What I like most in the course of English it is your madness. Then the atmosphere of the class is completed to learn(teach) and have fun at the same time. I also loved well the small questionnaires on sports or on characters in computer room. Your humor is rather funny Laughing
You learn well English has your students what allows a good level in the class and thus to move forward quickly
This little homework on internet was pretty funny because you can express your opinion
They are nothing to change and nothing to add

Post by Thomasbellin Sun Oct 22, 2017 3:42 pm

During this first half of the year in English, we were able to work in a rather cool atmosphere, with a good agreement generally.
Concerning the works in a group, I find that they we permitted to work well as for example those in computer room or still the various quiz on the sport, and then the work on the forum allowed us we could share our point of seen on certain subject.
I have nothing else to add to the course(price) nor to remove.

I like APSA 1 because it's very friendly, everybody likes each other, we laugh... Moreover, we are very united, and we help everyday. I like English beacause it's funny.

The video exercices are very enriching even if I hate listening comprehension, but I trust improve myself.

I dislike homework beacause I think it's not use, just the presentations for me are more interesting because we are doing research and it couldn't being of the badly made work.

I would like for the second semester have more grammar and conjugation.

It's a pleasure to teach with you, we laugh while learning, the fact of making us laugh is attentive.
The work mode is rather nice, to separate the class in two to make an understanding of one side and exercises of the other.
I do not have a negative point.
on monday morning i'm happy to go in english which before did not happen often

Week 6 - The English course Empty Re: Week 6 - The English course

Post by Mathis FARDIN Sun Oct 22, 2017 9:05 pm

Hello,
The most thing I like in English this semester was your humor. It's always a pleasure to work in good conditions and laugh is one of them. It was an interesting work in a good atmospher. Write each week on a different theme is good to learn and develope our vocabulary. And we can share around a similar subject.
The video exercise was for me good too, we should listen a language to learn it. And through different videos, we learn to understand english but with different accents. And we can learn of course vocabulary.

Post by EmmaGym Sun Oct 22, 2017 10:25 pm

Heyyyyyy, Good evening.
We talk about the English lessons. I like my teacher cause he really has a lot of humor. I enormously liked the fact that our professor was English-speaking. It is easier to evolve with a person who uses perfectly the language. In addition, it is interesting of work in half group. Because we have a more particular follow-up. We made various activities. Indeed, videos, survey or vocabulary of sport. We learnt things. And this is really important. The homework is interesting but is missing a direct return in classroom or even on the forum. What should I change? Nothing. For my second semester, I would like a little more exchange on the work to make previously. That all.Thank's,
Good Night everybody.

What I preferred at the beginning of this year is to have had so many orals which premet to work the pronunciation well. The fact that there is a relaxed atmosphere in class allows you to work without being too longer. The audio workouts allow to work the understanding but I would have liked to work also the grammar.

Week 6 - The English course Empty Re: Week 6 - The English course

Post by Philomène Pagnoux Mon Oct 23, 2017 9:11 am

I think that during this semester English courses were a great moment. The division of the class in two part is a very good thing because when we are in the class session we can participate mostly, and when we have to do an oral it is less difficult to present it behind a part of the class. What's more, to have an oral comprehension every week is a good thing to progress. We just have to work and to do the work seriously because nobody is here to control what we are doing. Then, I think the seance when we learnt sport's words was very interesting because we are going to work in a sport environment so we have to know sport vocabulary.
To conclude I think at the second semester we could do another oral comprehension who would be evaluated at the beginning of the semester and one at the end to see our progression. But just the oral comprehension at the end of the semester would have an influence in the average, like the notation at the fisrt semester.
