Designated Survivor

You may be familiar to the series, but i will not spoil you.

In fact, i will present you the series with the help of commented pictures. The content i choosed to showcase are the characters : they are at the center of this Political Thriller.

First let's begin by the main character :



The picture sums up the mission of Tom Kirkman : to bring the Truthin the USA. Alongside the series, he also tries to rebuild a government.

What i like about Tom are his values : sincerity, sense of duty, and family wellbeing as a motivation.

Is it a sad serie or dramatic ? how many seasons and episodes there are ?
Do you know the serie House of Cards ? If you know, it is similar ?

Hi Clémence, there are 2 seasons. The first has 21 eps, the second has currently 4 on Netflix France. Yes indeed, i know the name, and i read that it was similar to Designated  Survivor, so i am pretty proud to watch a series that i like and that has this drama touch (political thriller, political drama),  except that HOC is more mainstream. Its easy to watch but the suspense is making you addicted to it. I started during the holidays...so i had time. What Will you do now with all that information ? I think it's a very good serie, which speaks at the same time of politics (which has the power), but without being taken of head, and there is also action (style "24 hours chrono"), it's very rhythmical.

They take into account all the events of the world (mentioned the attack of Nice of July 14th).

I just finished season 1, not long ago and I'm thinking of starting season 2 when I shall have time. But a good serie overall.

My dad is a huge fan of this serie but I never watched it... I actually do not want to watch a makeover of "House of Cards", is it different?
