I practice track and field since I have 5yo (6 years old officially ), and I am javelin thrower for 4 years. My level isn't really bad but I often hurt myself. I learned 3 weeks ago that my shoulder has a damaged tendon. So I'm obliged to adapt my trainings in waiting for to see the surgeon again.

What's your longest Javelin throw Jade?

I represented by school at long Jump and hurdles a long time ago but I was very bad at the Javelin - it's a very technical sport.

My best thwrow was measured at 40,47 meters in Cognac. I don't think it is more difficult than hurdles, pole vault or discus, it's just a question of coordination : You have to dissociate the upper body and the lower body. But as in every discipline, every sports, you need to be patient and work hard to succeed. Before I specialized myself in javelin throw, I practiced the heptathlon, and the hardest discipline to me was high Jump.. I'm the type to think and calcculate everything whereas You have to be a real bomb, be explosive to jump high. "you ought to turn off your brain" like would say coach.

1m93 ?! How old were you ? If I remember well, I think That last year, a 16 or 17years-old-boy could participate to the national championship with this perf.. You had to be good ! Why did you stop ?
