Oral expression Controle 2018
In the first semester you had to give a short presentation about a TV series. For the second semester it's a little more interesting and complicated:
Your Oral presentation mark for this semester is going to be based on a “dummy guide” or “how to” video that you are going to create and publish. You must upload your video to “youtube” (private viewing not public) by midnight on Sunday 1 April 2018 but you can upload it anytime before then - so no excuses about having a busy week or being ill or anything else.
You can choose the subject of your video (anything except a recipe) but it must be a “how to”/”dummy guide” video. It can be serious or funny or a mixture of both and you can work with a class colleague if you wish. It should be between 4 and 5 minutes per person in length.
You should speak live and use voice over during the video. The mark will be out of 20. Comprehension /5, Flow/Rhythm/Speed /4, Interest /5, Pronunciation /4, Time /2
In order to upload your clip to “youtube” you will need an account – you can use one that you have already or set one up just for this exercise. The following clip shows you how to upload a video for private viewing rather than public viewing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvqUbA7tPf0
I have set up an account for you to share your video with me: john.cox.university@gmail.com
if you have any problems please contact me on my university address john.cox@univ-poitiers.fr BEFORE the deadline date.
