[ Series ] ATYPICAL

I am watching the second season of ATYPICAL, an original NETFLIX series that shows the protagonist on the autism spectrum. Sam is a super honest teenager and he is able to express himself with the exact and perfect words. The way he communicates is not the kindest in the Wolrd but is super clear, with no space for any doubts. Most of us are so "normal" but we can't be even close to say what we really think. Or when we do, people feel offended.

Just the day after I posted this comment I watched another chapter of ATYPICAL where regular humans try to convince Sam that he is too honest and he must say what people want to hear.

According to his best friend, lie is a crucial life skill. The worst: TRUE IS LESS IMPORTANT THAN APPROPRIATE

Unfortunately, I had seen people getting better positions or high salaries just because they know exactly what their superiors want to know. In the other hand, I had lost some good opportunities because I am too honest for the corporate environment standards.

LIE IS A LIFE SKILL: So sad but so true. Better to know now where we are getting to. Welcome to the Marketing Universe.
