Hello ! I have finally chosen my subject : A history of Royal fashion. This course is about the british royal fashion from the 16th century to the present. I hope this subject will be interesting for you.

So, let's talk about the royal fashion. First of all, you need to know that monarchs like Henry VIII and Elizabeth I used their clothes and fashion to transmit messages of power and control their subjects.
The Tudors are a british dynasty, their era was from 1485 to 1603.
Male clothing of the time typically consisted of a doublet (close-fitting jacket), hose (long socks) and gown (loose overgarment worn over the doublet and hose), although Henry favoured brighter and bolder colours compared to his father.
