Hello everyone,

Since we start a new year, I though about a subject related to new year's resolutions.
Here is the link of the article :

https://au.reachout.com/articles/5-new-years-resolutions

Please find below my summary :

Starting a new year is very often linked with setting up ambitious resolutions. However, the reality is they don’t even make it past the second week of January.
For this purpuse, we should turn them to be more realistic and worthwile.

First, we have to be more specific about our resolutions. Vague wishes vanish at the slightest opportunity, so to be very clear about what we exactly want to do should be our priority.

Then, we're not supposed to start a new year with such a hard rythme as spending our time just eating vegetables and practising sport. All what we should do, is to create a balance in a way that we can enjoy our life without feeling guilty about our bad daily life habits.

In addition, expecting to learn something new is more achievable if we choose one thing, and follow through on it, instead of putting our expectation very high.

Furthermore, quit smoking is a great idea, but it's not very easy to do so. Go step by step to reach your goal, without feeling bad if it doesn't work at your first attempt. Be persistant !!

Finaly, think about some measures to save better your money, like apps or a specific system.

To conclude, don’t make yourself frustrated through setting huge tasks that you will never be able to follow through with, and just be specific about your resolutions. No need to set a long list with no hope to achieve the whole of them.

Enjoy ^^

Hi Narimane !

Did you make any resolutions this year ?

For my part I don't really take resolution but I make a list of what I want to do in the year : "20 things to do before 2010".

My only resolutions are "to go" to a more vegetarian diet and zero dechet.

See you Smile
