Post by Emeline Giffard Fri Jan 25, 2019 11:21 am

Hello guysss

While I was wandering and reading stuff on the internet, I came across this Instagram account named "Lessons in Humanity", which is a weekly comic web series. The plot is simple : a human, named Will, is trying to explain to his alien buddy and flatmate how Humanity works.

And it's actually pretty funny, which is why I wanted to share it with you, don't know if some of you guys alrealdy knew about it though

Here are some of the lessons :

Lessons in Humanity Lesson11

Lessons in Humanity Lesson10

Lessons in Humanity Lesson12

There  is a total of 40 lessons already posted on the Instagram account, here's the link to the account if you want to read more : https://www.instagram.com/lessonsinhumanity_/

Have a nice day ! bounce

Hi, Emeline!

It's really interesting this alien friendship!

We can find some good things between all the shitty pages that are on instagram!

Appart from the funny way that this comic describes the problems of society, there are some messages and some learnings about our stereotypes!

I will try to visit it once in a while even though I don't have an instagram account!

Concerning your suggestion John, Ι love the caustic sense of humour, and the puns!

I find them very clever! If you have another suggestions please don't hesitate

Haha, I don't use Instagram, I was reading an article on a website that was talking about this Instagram account, so as I know that many people here are using Instagram, I thought it would be nice to share it. And I repeat, unless in case of ABSOLUTE NECESSITY, you will never see me using Facebook, bruh.

Lessons in Humanity Empty Re: Lessons in Humanity

Post by Clothilde Pluchart Sun Feb 03, 2019 11:07 am

Good morning, everyone,

Personally, I no longer believed in humanity because when everything is going well, only the people close to you stay with you.

But over the past two years, my opinion has changed.

I had a little experience in the middle of France with my car and people were just really nice, even to offer us food because of course when I have a car problem I am in a remote area in France where there is just a kebab van, there is a storm and I don't have a network to contact the breakdown assistance.

And that's when I rediscovered that there was really mutual help between people but only in difficult times.

I don't really know if I was talking about a lesson in humanity but at least you'll know that if one day you have a car problem don't worry people are super nice.

Have a good weekend, everyone. Very Happy

Thank you Clothilde for sharing your story !

Well, I used to think the same actually. I was quite pessimistic about people in general (still am by the way), but my views on Humanity have changed a bit. I am convinced that Humanity can do good things as a whole, and that all hope isn't lost. Of course, you're always going to cross the path of someone that will be a complete douchebag to you, but I know that out there, they are really good people that will always lend you a hand when you need it the most.

I try to stay optimistic in these harsh times haha

It's very interesting Emeline, a great way to explain how we work because humanity is very difficult to understand.
