Re: LIVING ABROAD
First thing first, English people (maybe just in Brighton I don't know) are so nice and so open-minded. I miss being there. I also miss chocolate chips shortbreads (the only food better there than in France ).

Re: LIVING ABROAD
I definitely miss good curry and 24/7 stores from London. Also being able to eat from all around the world without going too far.
And from Germany, I miss the price of food and alcohol (mostly the latest) and the forest around where I used to live, the Sunday walks I used to have...
Also, I truly miss my friends no matter where I live and at one point my family.
FROM BOTH COUNTRIES I MISS THE BEER.
What I miss most are the languages and being able to hear something different daily. I miss the German language and obviously speaking English daily.

Re: LIVING ABROAD
Hi everyone,
I went to England for three months to Minehead (in Somerset province and for those who don't know below Bristol).
What I miss most is the landscape (with the sea and the hills at the same time), the walks in the immense forest of this region, the people (always very smiling and who want to share, even if my English was rather average), the scones, the English pubs, and the roads with the puddles (sorry but there is really only that and at the moment it is strange), the speed limits (very very slow).
That's all it was a good experience and I would do it again without hesitation.
Unfortunately for my internship it is Mulhouse so I have Alsace, Germany and Switzerland.
Goodbye and have a good weekend.

Re: LIVING ABROAD
Hi, I lived 3 months in Ireland for an internship and I was surprised about how the Irish people are polite and nice.
Foe example, in the bus it's not like in France, when you want to enter or go out to the bus it's the same entrance (you can't leave by the back, their only one door). The peoples who want to enter in the bus wait that the other peoples go out of the bus. Imagine that in France ? Lol everyone push everyone to enter to the bus...
And everyone says "hello" and "goodbye" to the driver.
In France we definitively lost that, French people are seem by the stranger like people to complain every time.

Re: LIVING ABROAD
Hello Lea,
I should describe what I miss from Greece or what I miss from France when I am in Greece?
I would rather to say for my memories from Greece as I am here now!
Before I begin, I find French people very kind and smiley! I don't know if that means Greek people are not, but I think it depends on your mood if you will like people or not!
So, things I miss from Greece:
-Greek Cuisine (mostly the quality of fruits, vegetables and fishes of the street markets that I can't find hear)
-Sea-Beach (Walking by, view)
-Coffee with ice cubs
-Climate (we can enjoy a coffee or a beer in the 'terasses' all the year)
-Concerts (greek bands)
-Open air Cinemas (without doublage)
-Bars (they are staying open till 5,6 in the morning)
-The endlessly lunches with 'tsipouro and meze' (Greek traditional drink with alcohol accompanied with small tapas)
That doesn't mean of course, that we can't find all these in France, but I am used to enjoy them in Greece.
