I’m going to talk about world records.
Saturday February 15th 2014, the French athlete Renaud Lavillenie broke the world record for pole-vaulting indoor. He crossed 6, 16 meters on the first attempt. He becomes the best in his disciplines and he wins the competition. He beat the Ukrainian Sergueï Bubka (6, 15 meters), who had the record since February 21th 1993.

The theme is « world records ». So I want to talk about the France handball team that has the record of victory at the world championship. This last victory goes back to 2017 by winning 33/26 against Norway.

For this topic, I choose the record of Robert Marchand. He is the most french old man who cycling non-stop for one hour. He is 100 years old. This record took place in Switzerland. He cycled 15 miles around the 200 meter indoor track to set record.
He is a very incredible man, in 2017 he became the world championship in the category of more 105 years.

The world decathlon record is currently held by Frenchman Kevin Mayer, who scored 9,126 points on 15 and 16 September 2018 during the Decastar de Talence.
The Decathlon consists of a set of 10 events: 100m, pole vault, 110m hurdles ... The goal is to accumulate the greatest number of points at the end of these 10 events. The decathlon is an Olympic event, the Olympic champion is also one of the greatest athletes that the decathlon is known the American Ashton Eaton.

This week we choose to talk about world records.
This year a records has been beaten in swimming. Indeed during the world championship of swimming, Caeleb Dressel an American swimmer did a 100 meters butterfly in 49 seconds 50.
That’s verry impressive. But to do this records i think that his training was very intensive.

Ashley Watson entered the Guinness Book of Records with a six-meter backflip on the hight bar.

Ashley Watson is not the most titled gymnast in the world. But he got an honor that few others had: his name in the Guinness Book of Records. The Brit made a crazy feat during a training session in Leeds. He made the longest backflip between two hight bars. The distance ? 5,87m. The result captured in video is simply incredible.

The theme of the week is "world records". Since most people will talk about Usain Bolt world records I will talk about other athletes. The world record that marked me the most is Renaud Lavilleni, a Cognaçais who is a French athlete specializing in pole vaulting. It was in 2014 that he crossed a bar at 6.16 meters and broke the record of the Ukrainian Sergei Bubka. Then another French athlete who holds a world record is that of Kévin Mayer. Recordman of Decathlon in 2018 with 9126 points.

World records surpass all other performances in the world. The more time the longer the record will be difficult to beat. To make a world record you have to surpass yourself and be brave. Athletes take into account technical, nutritional, medical and pharmacological improvements. According to these points the athlete evolves these performances to have the record.

The subject of the day is the world records. So I'm going to talk about the marathon world record. The world record has been held since September 16, 2018 by the Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge who sets the time of 2 h 1 min 39 s at the Berlin Marathon. With a time of 2:15:25 in London on April 13, 2003, British Paula Radcliffe improved her own women's world record. At the Berlin Marathon on September 29, Ethiopian Kenenisa Bekele, 36, came close to breaking the record, just two seconds behind.

A 35-year-old German beat his own world record on Friday by swallowing 50 liters of beer in 4 minutes and 55 seconds.
Philipp Traber improved by 17 seconds his previous record of 2001. At the time, he had emptied a whopping 250 glasses of beer in 5 minutes and 12 seconds, which allowed him to enter the "Guinness of Records". . The quantity of beer drunk was then charged at one euro per glass. The sum was donated to a charity. What a Face
