Dogs are ugly, they bark all the time, and they also smell bad.

Just the opposite of cats.

But I wish her a successful recovery anyway.   (I add this sentence just to not see my semester marks decreased).

I don't agree with Alexis. Most of the dogs are really pretty. I think that Alexis doesn't know anything about life. But I have to say that your dog John is not the kind of dog that I would like to have ... But I am sure that she's really nice and I wish her a good recovery because she deserves it.
