It was in 2011, I was 10 years old during my year of CM 2, I went for 1 month on a trip to Reunion Island.
I left with my twin sister and my mother. We left between the month of April and the month of May. It was almost the end of summer there.
We therefore left Bordeaux airport, we made a stopover in Paris to change planes and leave for Reunion Island. We had a total of 14 hours of flight, including 12 hours for Paris / Reunion Island. So that the flies pass faster we took it at night so my sister, my mother and I were able to sleep. It was my sister and I the first time we took the plane, but we were not afraid. I was especially very happy to be able to go and visit this beautiful island.
Once we got there, we landed in the north of the island in Saint-Denis, it was hot and the landscape was totally different. There was my family waiting for us at the exit of the airport. Everyone was too happy to see us again, because it had been a long time since we had seen each other.
I will always remember that the day we arrived in the late afternoon it had rained and with my sister, the daughter of the people who lend us the house, we took a swim in the pool with the rain. Because it was hot, and it was a great feeling to bathe in the rain because in France the rain is never hot.
Then the next day we wanted to go to the big rock beach, but unfortunately there was a shark alert. Because yes, there are many sharks there. But we were lucky because on this beach, they built a seawater pool in the rocks which allowed us to swim in this warm and transparent water.
But with my mother and sister, we wanted to find a quieter place where there was no risk for us. So we found the beach with the coral reef. For me it is the most beautiful beach on Reunion Island. The water is translucent and light blue, there are lots of fish of all colors, and coral to see. It was just beautiful.
We had therefore finished our 15 days in the North of the island, so we left for 15 days in the South to see the rest of my family.
During the last 15 days we first visited and saw the famous Piton de la Fournaise which is still an active volcano today. It is very impressive to see something so big and big. The climb has been long and hard, but pleasant.
Then we also did our baptism of scuba diving. We went down to 6 meters deep. I have been able to observe many types of fish, eels and even have been able to see turtles. This dive lasted about 40 minutes. I found this experience great.
Then to finish in my little robinson adventures, we took part in a catamaran trip at sea for a day. We saw dolphins who came to swim next to the boat. Then there were also flying fish which flew over our heads it was super pretty and impressive to see.
I found my trip great, I was able to discover new things, new landscapes but also animals that I had never seen. This trip will always stay in my head.
So I'm done with my story, hoping you liked it and made you travel.

Today I will tell you about my trip to Greece with my sister and my father. I went to Greece in August 2019 on an island called Rhodes. We’ve been gone a week.
Rhodes is a very touristic island because it is an island that presents beaches, coves, local villages but also mountains and abandoned houses in the empty part of the Rhodes.
We were staying in a hotel with two swimming pools, one with slides, two bars, a restaurant . The hotel offered activities such as zumba, aquagym, dancing evenings with specific themes.
We visited the acromion , historical moments in ruins but in identical reconstruction . Then we visited the ports of the tourist boats and we ate in a boat restaurant .It was all sea food with fresh, local produce. To enjoy the sea, we decided to participate in a full day boat trip. This sea trip allowed us to discover many coves, tourist beaches and local food. We went swimming to see all the fish he had in the Aegean Sea.
Then to finish we have on several different beaches like white sand, pebbles or small pebbles. The sea was very salty and warm.
But unfortunately during all the holidays I got sick and I couldn’t eat the food that was there. So I was very weak and I lost more than 4 kilos.
But this trip to was still interesting and nice because I still discovered new landscapes and new customs.
And you Sir have you already been in Greece? Otherwise I advise you it is a superb experience to do.
Hopefully, it’ll make you want to go.

Re: APP Maeva bigeau
There are so many countries that I'd love to visit but I have two problems firstly I have dogs and cats that I wouldn't want to put in kennels so need to always find someone to house sit them (at least the cats) and secondly I've become anti-plane travel because of the immense damage it does to our planet.
Re: APP Maeva bigeau
I also know this problem with animals because I have at home two dogs, two cats, two rabbits and two horses so I know that it is very complicated to go on holidays because they need to know who could keep them, take care of them or place them in professional homes. But all this is restrictive and can be costly.
With my family, we manage to organize ourselves so that if one of us wants to go on vacation or to friends, they can go there without being bothered by the fact of keeping the animals. Then we are very lucky to have my aunt who keeps the dogs, cats, rabbits and horses when we leave for the weekend because otherwise we would be very annoyed.
But I would like to say that if we love our animals we can make concessions for their well-being.
I love to travel but the problem is the pollution that planes produce during flights, because kerosene pollutes a lot. The environment is therefore directly affected and at risk due to overexploitation. Ecology is a key term of our life because without it we would no longer be inhabited on Earth and therefore the human and even animal population would come to disappear. The more the years pass, the higher the temperature rises, so the glaciers melt, which leads to a rise of the waters and then a submergence of the dwellings near the oceans, the seas, the rivers.
We were able to see this in the events that took place last week and weekend, following the torrential rains the simple small rivers became torrents of sludge. All this, therefore, creates huge natural disasters like homes that have been swept away , roads that have been cut in half .So villages were cut off from all the rest of the population because there was no electricity, no water. Because of all these problems related to the environment but also to the ecologies many animals died and nature was devastated.
To fight all this we must be careful not to pollute more than we should, encourage car-sharing, and also not to use too much water and turn off the light when not using it.
I hope you, sir, are paying attention to all of this because we must preserve our planet.

Re: APP Maeva bigeau
Today I’m going to talk about the boat trips I was able to do with my father on the Bay of Arcachon.
My father lives in the Arcachon Basin, where I lived before my parents separated. So I now go to see my father about every two months. Every summer we go for a boat ride on the Bay of Arcachon, I find that when we are on the water we are like elsewhere, it takes us away from Earth and I find this feeling very pleasant.
So when we went out with my sister, my dad and I, we went out all day, so 8:30am to 6:30pm. It’s a big day because the sea air is quite tiring. So on those days we catch big or small fish, but sometimes we come-back empty-handed. When the tide was low we went down to the land to pick up crabs, oysters, knives and mussels. Picking up crabs is our best hobby with my sister, but also with our Breton spaniel dog who also plays with small crabs. When the water was rising, we went swimming with my sister, my dog and my father. But the water is often not very clean and especially not very hot.
Once on a trip we had come down from the boat to catch crabs, I had seen a huge one but it was hidden under oysters so I started to go to catch it and there I cut myself with an oyster at the level of the ankle. Then my wound took more than two months to heal, I should normally have had stitches.
For lunch, my grandmother, we prepare melon, sausage, a cold chicken with chips, with as a dessert small compotes and for the snack we had the right to have chocolatines made in the morning at the bakery.
Then on the way back, I put on the front of the boat with a towel to sunbathe and this was the best time of the day. But you had to watch out for sunburn because it happens very fast. Once I put it to sleep and I had burned, so I couldn’t even stand a sticky tissue on my skin for more than 3 days ... But these are the things I like to do, especially when I’m with my friends.
And you, sir, have you ever sailed on the Bay of Arcachon ?

It's a nice story. I've never sailed on the bay of Arcachon but I do have my pilot's licence and I like to go along the rivers and the sea.
Re: APP Maeva bigeau
Today I will tell you about my trip to Paris during my third year.
The third was the media class, where we had a theme that was the media, so we had a school trip to meet people who are in the media world.
We stayed there 1 week, we left Biganos, where I lived before to Paris by train we took 5 hours it seems to me. It was a bit long but fortunately we had a car that for us, so we could play, talk and move as we wanted.
Once we arrived, we went to the hotel where we slept during this week.
During this week we visited the Tour de France 3, we were able to speak on the radio, we made activities to show us how they prepare the radio sessions. I found it very interesting because we couldn’t see it every day. Then we also visited Le Monde, which is a very big building with lots of little secrets. Because it’s a very big newspaper. We were able to attend a conference with a cartoonist named Plantu. He is one of the greatest cartoonists of the newspapers, he is also by his signature that is a little mouse that is everywhere in his drawings. We were even able to take a picture with him and we were even able to create our own little mouse, it was great.
At the same time we could see the Eiffel Tower, and the front of the Louvre.
Then we attended the show presented on France 2, everyone wants to take his place. This is a program presented by Nagui, I admit that I did not like it because it was very long and not very interesting. But it’s still an experience. Besides walking on the sidewalk to go there we saw a limousine, we think it was the one from Nagui. And after that show we were shopping in a really big mall, that was much more my thing.
So, this trip to Paris allowed me for the first time to visit Paris, and to realize that I could not live there, because it is a city far too big and eventful for me.
And you, sir, have you ever been to Paris to see historical monuments.

Today I'm going to tell you about a trip that I would love to take. It is to go to Tahiti, it is such a wonderful island with its paradisiacal beaches, translucent water, fish of all colors. The landscape there is just sumptuous, incredible. This is one of my biggest dreams.
My mother's best friend is of Tahitian origin, because her mother is Tahitian and her father is French, so she's already gone there. She was calling us by Skype to show us the beautiful landscapes and the beautiful blue sky. As soon as she goes there she brings us some jewelry with Tahitian pearls. These Tahitian pearls are harvested from oyster crops. They are pearls of great quality and which are sometimes very expensive. I have two, one with three pearls of different colors, and one with a single black pearl. I care a lot.
I find this island very interesting because Tahitians speak their language but also French and English.
I love this island so much because I find it beautiful, but also because I love their tradition and their dance. Because I myself practiced this dance thanks to my mother's best friend who opened Tahitian dance lessons in a dance association. I loved practicing this dance because it is a dance where the movements represent the words, it is a dance that moves. Tahitian dance can be practiced by children, teenagers, adults, so it is a versatile place that adapts to all types of ages and people.
I practiced this dance for 3 years when I was in Gironde.
And I'm going to give you a little secret, which will also show you why I love this island, it's because my first name Maeva means welcome in Tahitian.
Here I hope you will have liked it Mr. John.

Re: APP Maeva bigeau
Today I will tell you about one of my biggest dreams. It's not really a trip as such but I have to go so that I can make this dream come true.
So this dream is for me to go to Fontainebleau to realize one of the most beautiful competitions that I know. It is a riding competition very famous by the great professional riders. It is a very large competition ground, there are more than 5 careers Including a very large budding career, it is this career that makes Fontainebleau so characteristic. This quarry is called the great parquet.
On this competition ground there are often high level competitions with young riders and their ponies. Despite being ponies, they still jump between 130 and 135 cm. These are riders who are between 7 and 18 years old. Over 18, riders can no longer participate in the so-called pony events. It is therefore often between 16 and 18 that the riders change and go on horseback. Then they continue to a bigger event on horseback.
The high level events on horseback start from 135 cm and go up to 160 cm. When you attend events like this as spectators, I find it just impressive and spectacular to see that horses between 1m65 and 1m85 can jump from such a height. The complicity that exists between the rider and the horse is inexplicable because the horse gives all its confidence to the rider, the two of them are one.
Then, in Fontainebleau there are also youth competitions. It is competitions start for horses from 4 years old until the age of 7 years. During the qualifications they are divided into three. That is to say that there are geldings, whole and mares. Then each horse of their age competes at the same time. The qualifications for the horses are not necessarily difficult, but only the horses which are at the top of the rankings are considered well. The more the horse ranks at the top of the ranking, the more it brings in dowries. And so if the rider or owner wants to sell it, the horse will be worth much more.
Often the horses that do the young horses cycles are horses for doing big tests. Because the courses set up on the track are made for them there are standards to be respected, and its courses are made so that the horses feel good and continue to evolve without being scared.
So my dream would be to do Fontainebleau with my horse in 120cm or more if possible.
Currently I am doing tests at 110cm and I will start at 115cm. My horse is a 6 year old gelding, I have owned it for only 1 year. It is therefore the coming competition season when we are going to compete, because we know each other better and better and the bond between him and me begins to develop. Hoping to progress to the highest level together.
I hope you found this interesting and learned something.

Re: APP Maeva bigeau
To end this series of travel and dreams, I am going to tell you about my dream of a little girl who knows what happened 5 years ago now.
This dream was to be able to have a horse of my own, at home with whom I could do what I want and when I want. This dream has come true because 5 years ago I moved from the Bassin d'Arcachon to come and live in the Charente in my grandmother's house. Then with my mother and my sister we have always dreamed of having our horse and this is achieved in August 2015. It is the arrival of our first horse, finally a pony named Bandit, 4 years old. When we got him he didn't know how to do anything and now he's got everything. Bandit was our first pony and he will be forever and we will keep him until the end.
Then then we have my first horse which I unfortunately could not keep because he had a problem in a hoof which meant that he could not continue his sporting career. So I asked the merchant who sold me my first Unic horse to trade me in. Il avait un poney gris nommée Tatou et ça a été le coup de cœur Tatou à donc rejoint la maison le jour même. He had a gray pony named Tatou and Tatou fell in love with him so he joined the house the same day. Tatou gave me lots of happiness for over 3 years but unfortunately I had to sell it last year because I had become too big for him and I could no longer evolve with him. It was heartbreaking for me as it was my first pony in my name and mine but I couldn't keep him and today I still have news from him and he is very happy with his priority news. During this time her sister also had her first horse named Barakouda.
Then for me, following the sale of Tatou, we looked for a horse with whom I could evolve for a long time and with whom I could ride in the tests, to be able to realize my dream of doing big and pretty competitions. So I found the horse that came into my life since August 24, 2019 named Ever Diam's du Vanda. He's been by my side for a year and everything is going well. Next year we will start the 115 cm.
This is how my dream of having my own horse comes true and today we have 3 horses at home, and we are the happiest.
I hope you enjoyed everything I wrote to you and that I have written enough. But I think I worked more than 7.5 hours.
