Hi John, i hope you're well. Today i'm gonna why warm-up is very important before a rugby game. Sport is a physical practice using our body in various ways. Too much sport can harm our body and cause it minor or serious injury. That's why you always have to be careful when you practice a sport.
Most of the time, the majority of injuries involve cramps, sprains or strains in the ankle. But there are other injuries such as rips that can be much more serious. To practice a sport safely it is imperative to warm up before starting. For that, it is necessary to increase the temperature of the body while trotting for three to four minutes, or, to carry out small exercises such as climbs of knees or heels-buttocks. After this warm-up begins, dynamic stretching should be used to increase the stroke intensity. After all this work, our body is ready to provide more effort and work to practice the desired sport.
All these warm-ups and physical preparation serve to reduce and prevent the risk of injury. Indeed, thanks to a warm-up, we can better protect our whole body (tendons, ligaments, muscles ...). Bodybuilding is also very useful because it helps strengthen the muscles to reduce the risk of injury. Proprioception that helps strengthen the ligaments of the ankle is also a very good way to prevent the risk of sprain. Of course, it's not just about getting ready to play sports that can help you practice safely. Having a good diet and drinking a lot also reduces the risk of injury.
The risk of injury is very often present. After this one, nothing prevents the resumption of a physical activity. However, we must be very careful to manage the recovery to avoid reblesser. It is therefore important to take certain precautions when resuming a sport, in order to practice it safely:
• Do not engage in physical activity overnight: training should be progressive.
• Regularity is important to gain profits and avoid getting hurt.
• For multiple physical activities, choose a group with the same abilities as you.
• Avoid violent efforts.
• Have the right equipment: put on your shoes and dress appropriately.
• Watch out for hypothermia (low body temperature) and dehydration. You have to drink regularly.
That's why warming up is very important, I myself have had the experience of being injured without warming up and not being able to play because of this null injury is very upsetting because you can only blame yourself.

It is common for athletes to conduct a structured warm-up before competitions and training sessions. This warm-up can help prepare the athletes' bodies for the specific physical demands of their sport and help prevent injuries. Mental warm-ups are designed to help prepare athletes for the less common mental challenges associated with their sport. To be useful, a mental warm-up must be combined with a physical warm-up to help athletes achieve a state of readiness to perform at their best and prepare them to use mental skills that can facilitate performance.
The mental warm-up has been developed based on input from athletes of different ages in a wide variety of individual and team sports. It includes different techniques to prepare mentally and psychologically and also to improve athletic performance. After using the Mental Warm-Up, you feel motivated to perform at your best, you are calm and energetic enough, you are confident in your ability to perform at your best, you have thoughts that are productive for performance, you focus on giving your best and you are prepared to give your best.
The mental warm-up is as important as the physical warm-up, whether it's a match or a big competition, it's important to have a clear mind, to tell yourself that you're going to win even if it's going to be hard. Thinking that the game is lost, that you feel weaker than your opponent, that you're going to get hurt, will play a huge part in your performance, it will take away the desire to play, weaken you and will make you feel worse than you should.

Ok today I'm going to tell you about the match I officiated last Sunday. I was refereed Villeneuve-des-salines against Martignas in rugby. The match went well even though 2 players wanted to fight and so I gave them a yellow card (my power being greater than theirs on the pitch I kicked them out).
Then towards the end of the match, in the middle of the action, the captain of one of the teams calls me and tells me that one of the players is not feeling well. I turn around and this player is lying on the ground and doesn't move. I then whistle to stop the time and the action that is taking place. I go towards this player, I talk to him and he responds well. I hold his neck because you can never be too careful when you don't know why he is on the ground. I ask him what's wrong with him and he tells me that he has taken a knee blow to the back of the head (it must hurt a lot). he tries to get up but he can't because his head is spinning and it hurts. 2 players from his team help him up and I give him a blue card. This card is used when a player has a concussion. He has a concussion and must have been taken off the field after being hit in the knee. After the game was over I asked their caretaker about him and she told me that he had passed the concussion test. This test is a questionnaire in which you ask where you are, when you are, who you are playing against and other questions to find out if you feel well and if the concussion is not too severe.
It was the first game of the season and the first time in my life that I gave someone a blue card. I'm telling you this because you always have to remember to be careful with shocks to the head. A concussion can happen without you realizing it and it's still pretty serious. When I got home, I went on the FFR website to validate the score and to declare the blue card I gave to this player. This allows a follow-up of this player so that if it happens again, he will be kept away from the field for a longer recovery.

I think the player should also have to visit a doctor and get a certificate before he can play again.

Last week I wasn't here and you discussed homophobia and people with coloured hair. Today we talked about racism and the difference in punishment between a rapist and a thief/dealer. For my topic I will talk about children who "want to change sex" when they are not even 10 years old.
I read and saw an interview not long ago of a "boy" who felt bad about himself and wanted to become a girl. This person was eight, eight years old. He said that since he knew the difference between boys and girls his life was not the same. He said that he did not feel happy, that he had difficulty living and even had suicidal thoughts. He was being interviewed and his mother was next door. When he finished his story, he said, "During the day I didn't feel well, then in the evening I went to see my mom and I told her, mom, I'm a girl now. ". His mother's response was, "What a relief. "
I would like to point out that this person is EIGHT years old. For my part, I think it's inconceivable that an eight year old child would say to himself that he wants to change sex because it's beneficial for him, or even that he has suicidal thoughts?? I think that you and I at eight years old didn't give a damn about who we were. We were preoccupied playing with our friends and doing our schoolwork and it stopped there.
Anyway, I can accept that a child feels bad about himself and wants to change sex. I don't see why not. However, what I find alarming is his mother's reaction. How can you be relieved that your little boy wants to be a little girl? Aren't there any questions to be asked before being relieved? Isn't there a problem with education? For me the answer is simple, his mother wanted a girl from the start and was disappointed to have a boy.
You will tell me that maybe I can't understand because I am not a parent, which is true, but my mother works with children, I have been around children since I was little and never one of them told me that he wanted a sex change. I can understand that now, if you want to, you can change sex, but it's certainly not at the age of eight, when you discover life, when you learn to count, write and read, that you have to say to yourself, "What if I changed sex?".
Here's what I wanted to talk to you about because I was really shocked to hear and see that.

It's an interesting topic and perhaps we need to consider if we can actually be born in the wrong gender body. If Gender is nature not nurture.

I watched this documentary last year and found it quite interesting:

If you watch it let me know what you think.

I watched the documentary you recommended. Honestly it was very interesting. I learned a lot of things and I will be able to talk about it.
There are children who think they were born with the wrong sex and you have to try to understand them because it's not easy. As shown in the documentary, the children and their parents have an appointment with a specialist to find out if their children really want to change sex. The specialist therefore serves as a translation between what the child and the parents really want. It's quite impressive to see a 5-year-old child tell himself that he was born with the wrong sex and that he wants to change.
For me a 5 year old child is in full body development and only thinks about playing and having fun. Whereas no, there are children who have a much more personal outlook and think above all about their well-being.
Once the child is sure of himself, he must go to a specialised hospital in order to stop puberty of his current sex and transform it into that of the opposite sex. He gives them hormones to be able to give what the body cannot produce (testosterones in men and women). He gives them hormones to be able to give what the body cannot produce (testosterones in men, breasts in girls, rules. . . ). If the children are really on them they can go up to the surgery and turn a penis into a vagina or just remove the testicles but keep the penis for the pesronnes wanting to be both sexes at once.
Unfortunately, it’s a huge surgery and the changes are very complicated, that’s why you have to be sure and that you have to go through a lot of consultations with the doctor before you get the surgery. Some people who have had surgery have made the wrong choice in doing this and it has led them to depression and even suicide for some. That’s why we have to be really sure what we want. Doctors want to give children a better and new life and do not hope for the waste.
It's very complicated to give a 5 year old child who doesn't even know how to choose between two different biscuits a choice, so you have to give him time, and for the parents it's complicated because you can't put yourself in his place to choose. The adjustment time for the parents is really complicated because they have got into the habit of calling their child with a male pronoun when the child wants to be a girl and therefore use a female pronoun. It's the same for the teachers, it's difficult to explain it to them and many don't understand it. This radical change that the child wants can be understood by a lack of self-confidence, a lack of happiness, a part of them is not present whereas if they were of the opposite sex, none of that would be there.
The transition after the sex change is very complicated and hard and it is during these moments that parents need to be present and support their child. As the documentary says, sex reassignment is a right and it allows us to exercise our strictest right, which is to be ourselves. In conclusion, for me it's a different world that presents itself because few children do not accept themselves as they are and it's frustrating to think why would we want to change what nature has given us. It is true that chance has made us born male or female, but is it really necessary to always want to decide what we want rather than letting chance do things? Anyway, it was a really interesting documentary that made it possible to see more clearly the wishes of the children, contrary to many documentaries where the parents speak for their children and therefore we don't know if the child really wants that.

Heyyy, today’s topic is going to talk about Charlie Hebdo and freedom of expression following what happened recently in France. As a reminder, a teacher was beheaded because he showed caricatures of the Mahomet prophet. It’s inadmissible, ignoble and inhuman. Freedom of expression is a fundamental right that allows us not to sink into a dictatorship where we would have no right to speak. Unfortunately, that’s not what everyone thinks. Indeed, here, Muslims do not accept the fact that they caricature their prophet. Understandable because it represents Islam and is degrading to see what one believes in, to be represented in a humorous and degrading way. But does that mean murder? as we know, lislam in France is a subject that comes back on the table all the time and that causes a lot of worries (whereas it shouldn’t). Freedom of expression makes it possible to speak without filters, one might say.
But the problem is that when someone known in France is caricatured, the person wants to complain and claims that it is a derogatory poster towards him or her and finds it unacceptable. Yet we have the right to express what we want, don't we? That is the principle of freedom of expression. Strangely enough, when you feel touched by the cartoon you don't feel the same way. That's why I understand how Muslims feel about the fact that to caricature the person who represents our religion is degrading. However, that doesn't justify murder. The person who killed the professor didn't do it for Islam, she did it for herself. He's a terrorist, a murderer. Except that it stirs up French hatred of Muslims. They see it as an attack on freedom of expression.
On the one hand, it’s true, but it’s also false. For me, murder should not be equated with freedom of expression because it is not good. The murderer was an unbalanced man who couldn’t stand a caricature. A lot of people were caricatured by Charlie Hebdo and that’s not why these people were killed by people. It’s a complicated subject to evoke in writing it’s much simpler in moral. I wanted to talk about it, but I hope it’s more or less clear, even if it would have been easier at the moral level.

A brave and interesting post.

I am a multiculturist and I love that the UK and France accept all people of all beliefs. I agree with you that freedom of speech is integral to our way of life but that there has to be moral/social boundaries. We shouldn't be able to do anything we want in the name of "freedom".

I think it's important that all foreigners entering a country agree to the laws within the country - and here I'm not just speaking about muslims, I too am a foreigner who must accept French laws. If you don't like a countries laws they live somewhere else? if your country is too violent or unsafe then do soemthing about that.

The beheading of the teacher was despicable and I really hoped that every Muslim in France would denounce the act and make it clear that it is unacceptable. That is the only way we can stamp this out.

It’s certainly a difficult subject to discuss in France in view of the constant debates on Islam and Muslims, but I wanted to discuss it because I was interested in it. Thank you for the link to the videos of Louis Theroux, my next topic will probably be on the one of those videos.
The topic I’m going to address today is the one that is most topical in France, confinement (or refinement if we can say). The COVID didn’t leave and we had to be suspicious. For my part, the refinement was a mandatory step in view of the catastrophic management of the French government in the face of the virus. First of all, the total confinement we experienced in March should have lasted longer. Having put an end to the confinement for the holidays only started the epidemic again. People went on holiday abroad and contracted the virus. On their return, and we suspected, they contaminated new people and from needle to wire more and more people have been infected.
Until mid-September the number of contaminates didn’t increase too much so it was fine. However, the character of the French will never change and having been confined for 4 months, undergoing a health plan, they could no longer and decided to do it only at their head. Result? an exponential increase in the number of people contaminated by student afternoons, marriages, and non-compliance with health regulations. Even we in Angoulême did not escape. Because of the student parties that took place, college had to shut down for a week. Fortunately, after a week, everything was back in order and we were able to resume classes. Arriving at the holiday of Toussaint, what was to happen happened, as the number of contaminates had exploded, the government decided to re-establish a containment. This was the best way to get the contamination curve down.
Except, of course, the containment is not respected. Shops that are not the first need remain open, craftsmen who are tired of being confined remain open.
As far as high schools and schools are concerned, it is difficult to give an opinion because, yes, it is necessary for children and teens to go to school but there is no de facto effort at the health level in high schools mainly. We see corridors crowded with high school students, an infinite tail to go to the self, all the high school students are stuck and even if they would all wear the mask (which is absolutely not the case), it does not respect in any way the barrier gestures. In Paris, the government talks about setting up a curfew. A curfew, during a confinement? Containment is still the fact of staying at home and not going out. But they want to set up an exit limit. It’s pretty funny, but it shows the inconsistency in finding a solution to the epidemic.
For me, it should have been like the Chinese government. Complete containment until the epidemic is minimal. Border closures and the quarantine of all contaminated persons.
If we look at China right now, what do we see in it? The economy has resumed, people are leaving without masks, the nightclubs are reopened and the virus? Almost gone. People who are infected are in quarantine and when they come out they are followed for 2 weeks. There are tests done all the time and medical follow-up of people already infected.
I don’t know what Emmanuel Macron will say at his next interview, but it doesn’t augur well, and as far as the virus is concerned, if we continue like this, we are far from making it disappear because no one respects the rules. It’s sad to see this, not respecting a rule that a government puts in place on the pretext that it deprives us of our freedom.
But is it not better to deprive oneself of freedom to save one’s health?
