If you haven't finished the exercise on Colour and Sound in advertising do that.

When you have, read through the other opinions and comment if you wish.

Today I'd like you to research free Websites to help students with their English. Either use a search engine and then review your choice by replying to this thread or select one of the following and review them in this thread.

I just found a free website to study English,it separate speaking, reading, writing, grammar and it has a special topic for TOEFL/TOEIC and business English. There are also many related items that we can choose and for
fun.

I found this website. Looks interesting and it's more about listening with entertaining exercices.

http://www.wordreference.com/
The best tool according to me is WordReference.

http://www.thefreedictionary.com/
That one is good for the pronunciation.

Classwork while John finishes off the interviews! 16/02/15 Empty Duolingo

I think Duolingo (https://www.duolingo.com/welcome) is an attractive and ludic website to learn English (and many others languages). It's also available as a mobile application.

And for an English dictionnary I like to work with Linguee (http://www.linguee.fr/francais-anglais) because it uses word's translation in a particular sentence, context.

You can improve your English at the BBC web page:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/learning/
In my opinion, this site is interactive, entertaining and practical. There are different themes to discuss, videos and grammar exercices.

I decided to talk about BBC Learning English. To begin, I will present you some part of this website that seem to be very interesting:

In the part “6 minutes English” of the website, you can find soundtracks that you can download in order to make exercises. For each soundtrack, there is a part of vocabulary in order to understand better, a transcription of the dialogue and also a question in order to see if you understood the soundtrack.

The part “Pronunciation” can help you to pronounce words better by watching videos.

In the part “Drama”, there are some stories. You can follow this story that is separated in some episodes, posted each day on the website.

In the part “Words in the News”, you can find videos about a subject from the week’s news.

There is also a part “courses” where it is more educational. You have to select your level and you have full of exercises in this part.

In my opinion, BBC Learning English is a very good website to help students with their English. I think that the principal advantages are that:

• BBC learning can be used in numerous ways (mobile phone, internet, note cards to be printed)
• Composed of varied subjects: History, Mathematics, Languages, Movies…
• You can train yourself on the aspect where you have difficulties like grammar, vocabulary, writing or listening,…

My favourite way of learning English is by watching tv-shows or movies.
For beginners, the website http://ororo.tv/en is perfect, because you have original voices and English subtitles, so if you don’t understand something by listening to it, you can read it too!
And if you want to watch tv-shows without any subtitle, you can try http://www.ch131.me/ .
