Women in the sport

Women have an important place in the world of sports as much as men. There are some sports that are very well feminized like athletics but on the contrary in boxing we see less girls. Women's sports had a lack of recognition as well as a lack of media coverage. But there are more and more televised women's sports, especially team sports such as soccer and handball, which allows people to see women's abilities in sports.

Today women in sport have taken a place almost as important as men.
Today, women can practice all the sports they want, there is almost no more inequality because sport is a moment of equality between all. Thus, women no longer have the place they had before which was to stay in the house and take care of the children, they can go and practice a sport where they are fulfilled and happy.

During a long time, men fought for their performance while a woman had to fight for here presence.
Male and female sport have two different histories but today there is a certain fairness which is certainly not perfect but in constant evolution.
So high-level sport is now accessible to all but not with the same "ease".
I think that in the years to come we will see more and more high level champions / athletes.

In the history of sport, women have not always been equal to men. At the Olympics Games, the first time women were admitted was in 1900. Today, this fight against inequality continues and women are increasingly put forward. Today, it can be said that the place of women in sport is as important as that of men.

During long time women haven't rights, right to vote, right to drive, right to open a bank account AND right to play sports especially competitions, club sports, etc ... Now mentalities are changing what brings the change of sport. Now we can see women play basketball, soccer, golf, tennis or any sports. Of course and it's visible women have less physics perfomances than men but they have their category, their competitions.
For me that's a good thing and I like turn on the TV and watch women in Olympics games for exemple.

Women have a very important place in sport but their salaries and media coverage are still not on a par with men's. However, this is because women have less physical ability than men in purely physical performance sports such as running or throwing... it is less impressive to watch women than men.In sports where there is a technical component as well as physical strain, such as football, women are beginning to gain recognition, especially in the United States. However, they have lost credibility since their world champion national team lost 5-2 to the U15 team from Dallas. In purely technical sports women should have exactly the same place as men. At the moment gender equality is developing more and more which is a very good thing for women's sport.

Women are always less present than men in sports. Inequality is therefore always a little present, vision time in TV or salary are typical factors for inequality. Women have difficulty integrating into sport because according to people it is impossible for a woman to have a man's sporting abilities, but also the physical. At the time, a muscler woman who sweats was horrible to see beacause it was against the ideology of the beautiful, refined, clean, elegant woman. Today the woman has a place but always with a little restraint.

Women in the sport:

The time in which we live is a time of revolution. They woman take a more importante place in society, and particular in the sport. they sport until now reserve for man, become accesible at women because the society want to see equalities wich different sport for example this year in Formula 1 we see born a new category and a new championship for woman. this example is just one among so many other. I think to integrate woman in all sport is a good idea and this is beneficial for equalities of the sex.

Women in sport have managed to assert themselves as much as men on the parity of the number of people doing sport. However, media coverage remains complicated. First of all, the mediation of hard, contact and combat sports remains extremely weak. We rarely see women boxers on TV. Moreover, when a woman or a team of women wins a victory, a title, they are not qualified as heroines as men are. Indeed, when they are interviewed, we see that the journalists first talk briefly about their victory, then ask "How do you keep your femininity and manage your family while doing a contact sport at a high level?"

Women in sport, it's a great story, unfortunately, we only talk about it but a lot of sexism and inequality but now the status of women in sport has changed a lot and it feels good. The visibility is still quite low but it's canstantly evolving.
Many more women are embarking on a career as a professional sportswoman, some of them can make a living out of it and others can't, but before this could never have been envisaged.

Nowadays, the place of women in sport has significantly improved, they have as much the right to practice a sport as men. There is still progress to be made in particular on the visibility of women's sport as well as the salaries of professional players. Moreover, we observe more and more women in sports where there were only men a few years ago like boxe, rugby, baseball...

it took more than nineteen centuries before women could legitimately begin to enter the world of sport.

Today, if sport seems to be accessible to women in Western societies, women's performance is still not recognized, nor rewarded, like that of men. Women play sports but men perform less

Nowadays, the place of the women in sport, is without a doubt more fair than they never was. In effect now, whether at school or in current life women and men can both make the sport who they want. But however, their is always disparities notably economic betwen the women sports and men sports ; because of the difference in attractiveness of these sport to the general public.

It does many thousand years that the male sport exist. the women are in sport only since few years, then the differences between the men and the women is big in multiple point of view. Firstly in terms of capacity only physical ( for exampl, the results between the women and the men), in terms of money, we know an man athlete will be better pay than an woman athlete even if they play in same category.

Women have always had a smaller place than men in sport.
Before, they could not even practice any of them.
However, for some time now, women have been fighting for recognition.
For example, at the last Olympic Games, the parity between men and women was almost there.
Women are not only fighting to be recognized in the univers of sport, but they are also fighting to prove that they can not only practice sports called "for girls" like dancing but also violent sports called "for boys" like boxing.

During a long time woman had a smaller place in sport than men but for several years women have become almost as important as men in sport. Men still get more media attention than women but the mediatisation of women is in expansion. The women are also pay less as men but its explain by the difference of performance due to capacity that differentiates the men and women.

For me the Women's in the sport is a subject wich is close to my heart because i think that it would be important talk more about it and showcase women more compared to men. since the bigining of women in sport there never was equality enter men and women. In the future i hope this inequality wil become equal betwen men and women.

Since 30 years with the most famous women Simon VEIL the place of women is changing and in sport the change is more expansion. Woman sport is more and more watch because the media focus more as the wold championship who take place in France. But woman sport is young so yet less developed that man sport.

Women have been considareted by the passed, like infirior than men. And that is reprensated in the sport. Many numbers to begin: 1991, this is the year when the first world footballcup feminin has began, 60 years after the first world football cup masculin. So, same if media, journalist, or the society will not to change in the vision of women in the society,the frame of women in sports will not change

At first, women could notplay sports, it was only for men. Now they can practice but yet they remain inferior compared to men ! For example, on television, we see more sports where men are concerned than other way around. We see very little women distribution ! We often also give a masculine gender to each sport, for example football is for men and dance for women. There is a lot of sexism in sport..

At the beginning, the sport was considered as a man's discipline and it was forbidden to the women to practice a sport.
However the world is evolved and now women have an important place in sport but their salaries and the media influence are still not equal. But women should have exactly the same place and the same right as men.
For example, everybody is watching the French masculine football team and so knows the players, but if we ask the question about the women's players names, I think there will be a lot of non-response...

Now, the equality between the two sex is developing which is a very good thing for women's sport and in general, but we are far from being in a perfect and fair world, so we musn't forget this fight in order to put us on the same footing !

Sportswomen are increasingly highlighted.
By taking the example of cycling I will show you that this is indeed the case.
In the professional world of cycling, there were only men until the 1980s when the Tour de France had a women's version with Jannie Longot as its heroine. Between 1984 and 2009 the girls started in the morning before the men. They therefore had less visibility than the men, whose races were broadcast almost entirely, unlike the women. More recently, there has been a huge difference in pay. The 65% of women cyclists have a second job on the side while all the men live from their profession. One week ago, the Paris Roubaix race took place for women and men and the difference in prize money for the winners is aberrant. 1535 euros for the female winner against 33000 euros for the male winner.
To conclude there is still a lot to be done to establish equality between men and women in the world of sport.

We have known that for a very long time, inequalities in everyday life between men and women are very present. Unfortunately, they are also there in sport. We are well aware that our society maintains a strong and beefy image of sport, which it believes suits the boy. And that's why there are less girls registered in amateur sports clubs, less media coverage among professional players and even less money for her ... Stupid male
