UFC 182 Jon Jones vs Daniel Cormier

On the UFC 182, the January 3, 2015, two fighters Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier was fighting for the title of the heavyweight champion of the UFC. The fight lasted 5 rounds but no one did a knockdown. Jon Jones controlled the longer time his opponent and did much poke. Finally Jon Jones has successfully defend his title for the eighth time, he defeated Daniel Cormier unanimous decision by all three judges scored the fight 49-46 in favor of the champion.

I don't really know much about UFC. Is it a legal sport in France?

Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweights Hector Lombard and Josh Burkman collided on saturday, January the 3rd at UFC 182 from inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lombard may not have lived up to his reputation of a destroyer just yet, but he looked quite dominant at welterweight heading into his latest bout, none wanted to fight against this guy but Burkman has happened.

On the first round Burkman adoped a game plan and did a strong job on the fight, he kept Lombard well away from him and put his powerful strikes at the right time. Still, Lombard did some powerful strikes and especially on the bottom of his opponent.

The second round began, both men landed heavy shots, but Lombard's power advantage often shook his opponent a bit. Additionally, the power punches seemed to slow Burkman down a bit for the second half of the round. This time, Lombard was able to land more significant shots when he had his opponent pinned to the cage. Burkman attempted to throw singular counter punches, but Lombard was often able to land the more effective strikes.

In the third round, Burkman was clearly tired of trading punches with Lombard. From the top, Lombard passed into side control and landed some small shots before Burkman returned to his feet.

The final two minutes of the fight went like much of the fight. Lombard walked his man down, landed some hard punches, and devastating low kicks. By this point, Burkman was too abused to successfully fight back, and the fight put him slowly down.

Once again, Lombard took a clear decision victory over a game veteran. Above all else, it's an excellent sign that Lombard can fight three rounds well. Against Burkman, Lombard was able to set his own pace and maintain it throughout the fight.

Another fight in the flyweight division opposed Louis Gaudinot and Kyoji Horiguchi on the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Gaudinot had his best moment in the fight at the second round, when he managed to mount a standing Horiguchi and secure a choke while scissoring his opponent with his leg. Horiguchi managed to get out of the predicament and resumed control.

It was more in the same over the final five minutes, and Horiguchi hunted down Gaudinot and landed him when he was able to catch him.

Horiguchi improved to 15-1 on his career, while Gaudinot 6-4 has won just one of his past five fights.

How long are the rounds and how many rounds are there?
