On A Brazilian World Champion

It is the story of a child called Gabriel Medina. He was born on the 22nd December, 1993, in Maresias, São Paulo, Brazil.
Before, Gabriel loved to play soccer like millions of other Brazilian young kids... But he caught his first wave with a friend, when he was only eight years old and he did well ! Because at only 20, he added an ASP World Tour title to his trophy room . Indeed, he is the first ever Brazilian to claim a world surfing trophy. So the history of competitive surfing has just added another flag to the list of champions.
