I'm glad, the sun is reappearing in our lives. Sunshine means good mood. People are more relaxed when he intervenes in our lives (that is probably why we are so BITTER (or SOUR as John told me) in Normandy ? - the sun clearly turns its back on us Norman friends )


So, a little topic about our beautiful regions ! Sell me your city, your cultural heritage, your history ! (The "angoumoisins" don't bother to try...)

Concernuing Normandy, what can I say ?
Have u ever seen a region where u can experience all four seasons in just one day ?

And that the beaches are beautiful but useless ? Because hey, summer only lasts two days there, no time to enjoy it since these rare days often fall on weekdays, so that no one can enjoy it.


What we love about Normandy and its wonderful Normandy people :
- our magnificent accent / WE LIKE "R" !
- our appropriation of Mont St Michel (whether the Bretons like it or not: fuck
- our cheeses (camembert MIAM)
- Rouen Capitale ? ahah (when you looking for conflict with the Bretons, doit all the way!)

Joking aside, it's a region where it's good to live (when you like the humidity, the cold), where people are fundamentally nice (just look at me : I'm cool !!), where u eat well (sacrament well) and especially, where u drink well (eh, u have to warm up our bodies well).

What a lovely place Britany !! (and Normady as well Meghane , don't get mad at me )
I have been in Brest once and i liked the landscapes overthere even if it was soo cold !!

So speaking about regions and cities i wanted to spend some words about the Nouvelle Acquitaine , especially the city of Bordeaux(where i lived for 2 years) that i love very much!!

From the first time i went in Bordeaux i appreciated it , and now that i'm not living in it i miss it (That's why me and Salma try to go there for weekends   )

Hi everyone, I would love to tell you more about my region but it's Poitou-Charentes, so I'm gonna try to sell you NIORT because why not...
Niort used to be quite ugly but they invested a lot in the city so now it looks like that



Moreover, we have now free public transports in order to dynamize the city center and it's actually working.
I'll finish by talking about the marais poitevin (that you can access by free buses as well) where I have some fabulous memories and you can walk, ride a bike or enjoy a barque quick stroll.

I come from Poitiers and its region, la Vienne. It seems quite calm and it's true because it's the countryside. But I'm proud of it because I grew up in a village when I learnt about nature protection and nature in general. We have the Pinail's natural reserve that we visited a lot during my childhood. School make us going to orchards to discover apples, pears and peach. For Carnival, we were disguised in vegetables in my kindergarten for example. I used to know the farmer's habits with agriculture for example the harvest season and that kind of things because I can smell it (yes with the manure that they move). My grandma has rabbits and chicken in a part of the garden, she has a barn too where there is a tractor. My grandfather was farmer (that's why). They have a large field where there are vegetables.
But la Vienne is not just countryside, Poitiers is known to be a medieval city with old buildings and manors sometimes. There is an haunted manor famous in the region because the ghost that people could see died because of the tuberculose in the 1900's. Chauvigny is a city known for its old castel partly destroyed, there is a show with eagles and others bird of prey that people like, it's very touristic during the summer. Châtellerault is an other city in la Vienne, it's known for its old armery manufacture and automobiles factories but that was the past. This city is known too for its beautiful monument : La Main Jaune, but it was destroyed because of the Gilet Jaune movement. It's sad because the monument was paid by citizen.


We don't have typical meals, maybe the Broyé du Poitou which is a galette like shortbread, or the Tourteau, a kind of weird cake.

So Yes I'm a country girl but I enjoy the city life too so I created my own type of people because I'm like an hybride one XD

Hi, Emeline says everything about Brittany, I'm from Quimper and lived 21 years in Quimper before coming in the Nouvelle Aquitaine.
I really like Brittany because it's not only a region, the breton people are really attached to their culture (for example it's like in Ireland, the sign are in 2 langages).

And the price of the crepes are really perfect, in this region it's really expansive
