What do you have? What do you want? What doesn't exist yet but you'd like to see invented? Is Technology bad for us? Are New technologies just for the rich? Do they increase the wealth gap?

Today, we were surrounded by technology. Since 50 years, technology has grown enormously. In developing countries it became almost abvious to have a phone. But that’s not an evidence according to country because coutries who were not develop there are no new technology. We can wish that it will happen but we can wonder if new technology is good for our life. It’s sur that it simplifies our life. However maybe we overdevelop that and it could became bad for us.

This week, we are going to speak about the new technology. The new technologies correspond to a lot of evolving fields and various techniques in order to facilitate the relationship between men and machinery. To illustrate this definition, I am going to speak about self-driving cars. These cars can move without any driver. I think it's a good invention because it can prevents many accident.

A Da Vinci is a medical robot, and more precisely a machine run by a surgeon to perform operations1, mainly at the level of the abdomen. It is sold by the American company Intuitive Surgical. In April 2011, it indicated that 1,750 copies were in service worldwide.
The Da Vinci is composed of two parts. The first is above the person to operate and features three (in his first version) or four (from the Da Vinci S model) manipulator arms. One arm holds an endoscopic camera, the others hold surgical instruments such as a scalpel, or more precisely an electrobisturia which cuts the tissues using an electric current.

The second is located a few meters from the first, and has a seat on which the surgeon sits, two screens in front of which the latter just place his eyes and which retransmit live 3D view of the endoscopic camera located on the first part, and two joysticks to control the surgical instruments located on the first part. flower

I am going to talk about the dog robot Spot, It is a machine thought for the transport of goods and which has a autonomy of 90 minutes and its speed of movement is capped at 5 km / h. Equipped with a 360 ° vision thanks to five cameras, the Spot is able to carry a load of 14 kg maximum. Waterproof, it can also withstand temperatures between -20 ° C and 45 ° C. And he can also walk with ease on a construction site with uneven ground or very loose, he can climb steps, avoid obstacles, dance, get on his feet if he falls, open the doors and can even pull a truck .

New technology has taken an important place in our daily lives: for example the connected watch “smartwatch” has been a real success in the world. They are connected to the phones and allows to go online, send messages, notification of your phone, do research, and watch his sports performances… Different models already exist on the market.

Today's robots can recognise voices, faces and emotions, interpret speech patterns and gestures, and even make eye contact. Droid friends and assistants are becoming part of everyday life, and are being used increasingly to care of the elderly, educate children and undertake all sorts of tasks in between.

Post by Anthony Lopez Sun Oct 20, 2019 7:20 pm

I'm going to talk about new technologies. More we advance in time and more new technologies take more space in our daily lives like smartphones, cars, televisions. Many people are afraid of the evolution of these new technologies, these people reject them with the fear that these technologies controls them. But many of these new technologies can save thousands of lives, I'll take the colossus robot as an example. It is a firefighter robot that is sending or sending men becomes dangerous for their lives as for the Notre Dame de Paris cathedral it saved the building and many lives, without damaging the robot.

New technologies have become a daily thing for humans. Today's generations spend their lives on their phones, video games, computers... There is a new console that will be released shortly announced for the end of 2020 which is the PlayStation 5. But there are plenty of other things that are in the planning phase and could come out in the coming years or are already on the international market. Like football with robots instead of baby-foot, or robot fighting instead of wrestling or boxing.

Post by Louis ROGER Mon Oct 21, 2019 12:35 pm

Today we have to talk about new technologies. For me some new technologies are very useful, like the machine manufacturers cars. This allows the men working in the companies to not do too difficult and overworking work, which allows them to do tasks requiring humane intelligence that are less useful for the body.

Yes, I'm a little late but well.
SO, the new technology.. I LOVE new technology because some of new technology are genious, but they can be very dangerous. Indeed there is lot of dangers about them because they risk making people addicted, replacing those who work in companies, and thus creating unemployment. Personally, I think that new technologies are both dangerous and pratical. Indeed, for example, they can both find vaccines for diseases that affect many people but there may be genetic selection hazards or any kind of thing like that.
