I hate written expression

Yo!
I hate written expression but you said us to write every week here and we have to do that.
It isn't a waste of time but i don't understand why we have to do that ! Can someone explain me why ?

Okay, the reason is that we only have 7 lessons each semester and there is no time to work on written production. Sadly writing is a part of English so I thought this would be the easiest way to give you the possibility whilst simulating the real world. I think students write more online or by SMS than they do on paper nowadays.
