Fear The Walking Dead - TV serie

I Watch Fear the Walking Dead this week !
Fear the Walking Dead is a Science fiction serie, and it’s a spin off of the famous AMC show, The Walking Dead. In both series, the world collapsed after the dead people come back as zombies. The zombies are, of course, the principal danger for the characters but they know how to deal with them after few episodes. The hardest is, in fact, to deal with other alive people. In the same time, the psychological evolution of the characters is truly interesting.
In Fear The Walking Dead, the 1st season take place just before the disaster. The main character is Travis, who gather his family when the dead started to come back.
I watch episodes when they are available in France, so this week I watch the 13th episode of the 2nd season (episodes are broadcast every week).
Previously, in the 2nd season, Travis family has been separated: his wife (Madison) is in a safe hotel (she cleared the hotel) on the beach, his stepson (Nick) leaved to find a new community and Travis survive with his son Chris, a teenager, who become increasingly violent.

In this episode, Travis and Chris meet other people (nearly 20 yo), who steal what they find, even if things belong to someone. The group find a farm and take some chicken. But the farmer doesn’t agree and shot one of them on the leg. Like answer, Chris shoots him on the head.
The group takes care of their injured friend during a week. After this event, Chris find his place in the group but Travis don’t recognize his own son. After a week of waiting, the group decides to kill their injured friend, because he becomes a dead weight (without bad wordplay). Travis ask to Chris to leave the place with him but Chris refuse, and go with his new friends, under the powerless eye of his father. Travis, disappointed and lost because he let his son leave, will walk during 2 days, right to the beach. When he was near to the sea, Travis sees, for a second, the lights of an hotel, the hotel of his wife. Obviously other peoples (alive people) have seen this light and when Travis reaches the hotel, there is already lot of people in front of the gate. The group in the hotel doesn’t have lot of resources but now, they were a little forced to let them pass the gate. Travis find his wife after long time and told her his story.
In the last scene, we can see a group in front of the gate of the hotel: the Chris group. The reunion promise to be fun …

I'm only on the first episode of the second series so I haven't read most of what you've written.

The first series started slowly but I enjoyed it. This first episode of season 2 was quite boring. It seems that FWD has no story until a cliffhanger at the end of the episode. I'll keep watching but it's not as good as TWD and Travis isn't my kind of guy. Nick is obviously fun and the guy he met in the cell is interesting but my favourite is the El Salvadorian. Hope it improves quickly though.

I'm sure you don't read this, there is spoiler, I don't have the choice ... but this is the 14th episode of the 2nd season.
In the 14th episode of FTWD, Ofelia (the daughter of the Salvadorian) is on the way to USA, but her car break down just next to the border wall. Some zombies want to eat her, so she give up the car, and continue to walk along the border. She find a breach after lot of kilometers.
In the colony, Nick continue to help, he take drugs in the infirmary to give to the gang, which find us. The gang chief tells to Nick he doesn’t want this drug, but he want the colony place, and he will come and kill everyone want to stop him. When he back to the colony, he told to Alejandro (the chief) and Luciana the project of the gang. During the conversation, a dead come back to life in the infirmary and bit Alejandro.  
In the Rosarito hotel, Maddison try to don’t make Travis feel gulty, but he’s really broke. Few instants later, Maddison meet Chris group who just reach the hotel, but Chris isn’t with them. Maddison wouldn’t tell to Travis but he saw and recognizes them. Travis come to have an explanation. Travis learn, during  the conversation that his son was be killed by the others, just like the man in the farm. Travis become mad, and killed them in a extreme violent scene. At the end, we can see Travis sit, back to the wall, the gaze into space.

Hello, today I will resume the final episode of the 2nd season, John, you should keep watching this serie.
The final episode beginning with Travis, in the position which we left him in the previous scene, traumatized by the death of his son. The other characters come into the room after have break a window. The Mexican peoples come help Oscar, who was hurt during Travis rage. Then, all of hotel residents discuss about Travis reaction and Madison, who say “if anyone is violent, he will leave the hotel without negociations” try to excuse Travis. But others people aren’t agree, they want Travis out.  
In the next scene in the Rosarito hotel, we see Alicia who come takes news from Oscar, always unconscious. Andres (Oscar brother) tell to Alicia he will open the cranium of Oscar to go down the pressure, a hard operation, on his brother. He ask Alicia to leave and strat the operation. But Oscar die in during the operation. Andres and Hector go immediately in Travis and Madison bedroom in the night, with the wish to kill Travis. When Hector is about to kill Travis, Alicia cut him in the heart. Sand come into the room with a gun and helps Madison family to run away from the hotel.

In the colony of Tijuana, where is Nick, Alejandro state get worse. Nick tries to convince Luciana to come with him but she doesn’t want leave the colony.
He even leaves the colony and few kilometers after, Nick sees, with his field glasses, an helicopter. Nick decides to return a last time to the colony to convince Luciana and the rest of the colony.
In the next scene who take place few hours later the gang reach the colony, get a way across the zombies (which serve as a defense) and discover an empty camp. With are last forces, Alejandro released the zombies in the camp as a trap on the gang.  
Madison, who runs away from the hotel, find the camp, in the research of his son Nick, and Alejandro always dying. Alejandro tells Madison that Nick is going to the North with the rest of colony to find a new camp.
In the last scene, we can see Nick and the colony on the way, when a group shot them with guns. Nick’s girlfriend, Luciana, take a bullet in the shoulder. When Nick find her, and man hit Nick who lost awareness.
The season is over, but I will post on the Walking dead (the original serie) in 2 weeks.
