Trust - a societal change? - Page 2 Empty Re: Trust - a societal change?

This Document deal with a new type of economie : The Collaborative Consumption
It’s based on services and reputation. How the technologie could built a truth between strangers?
Firstly, I agree with Rachel because we have to create a new wave of economie which put the
money on the background. She gives exemples very relevant. In deed, with the evolution of
websites like airbnb, it’s really easy to found places, location where you want in the world.
Moreover, with the evolution of the technologie, matches between lent and rent people increase
like show in Paris between 2002 ans 2012.
I’m also of agreement on the devolvement of relationship before financial affairs. Each people
create his own repution and work hard to emblish this one because their work is based on.
Honnest people must be rewarded and their reputation must stay same if they change their life.
We can also speak about « blablacar » based on this configuration. To make a good relationship
before to earn money.
But, i disagree with Rachel, because some people lie or impose something to others people. For
exemple with Sebastian, a people met a rat in the kitchen; she have to tell it but she lies and forces
Sebastian to buy a cat. His reputation is preserve but he will never tell the truth. It’s a limit of this
econoimie.
She would create a website where you can found the past of each people and put a reputation for
each people, but it remove the private life. Moreover, for exemple, know that a people was in jail
will never give a good image of himself same if he changed.
The evolution of this economie could create a new money : The virtual money.
When you do something or if you let your housse, you credit your « virtual card » and you can use
this for a next purchase. This new money could be useful because if you regroup this virtual money
on database, you can counter the hacker because if they hack you, you just have to call the police
and ask a reboot of you money.

In this video, Rachel Bostman presents the evolution of society. For her the technology enables the creation of e-reputation. It's true because on the web we are constantly judged, rated, evaluated by other people. This evaluation can be used to assess the confidence that can be attributed to a person and this is already used on a lot of websites such as : Airbnb, BlablaCar, Amazon, eBay ...

Rachel Bostman talk about 2 subjects in this video, the e-reputation but also the collaborative consumption. This new type of consumption can bu resumed in few words :
Trust / Money / People / Sharing

The idea of collaborative consumption is simple : The same asset or service can be used by several people and if a person knows how to do a few things she can then share knowing to others.

This idea will change the Insurance and banking industries because actually if you want to do a credit in your bank, your banker will analyze yours financial data but a lot of data can't be used. The objective of Rachel Bostman it's to combined every data of you and provide them to people who need it to study your case. It's a revolution !

We still have that it will have a price, maybe even we will lose our privacy !
