Banking Union - Julien and Kevin

Protection for our bank accounts? Confidence in the bankers? Who has that? What did you think to Julien and Kevin's presentation about the Banking union?

Hi John,

It's a good choice of subject because it's our specialty and we didn't talk about it. This topic complete with the european union and Brexit. We talked about all the subjects of Europe !!
The presentation was good, it's a complicated subject. I think they gave the maximum of information but I didn't see the whole presentation  .

Concerning banks I trust them. There are many regulations that secures banks like Bale 2, 3, etc. I want to be a banker after my studies so if I don't trust them, there is a little problem. The European Central Bank controls the central banks of member countries. This is a very important security. For me, there isn't problem with banks and bankers.

But i'm very sorry to do not give my opinion, because, i could not follow it very well. I kept my concentration for my presentation which was just after.

Perfect subject, I think that is intersting subject. I think that we must not be affraid about our French Bank. We are in one of the most powerful country around the world, and ours banks are controled by BCE and can be help by government. I trust about bank in France, but we have to be vigilant because it's not the same case in other countries in Europe and in the World.

The presentation of Julien and Kevin was very interesting. Choosing a topic related to previous presentations (Brexit and European Union) is a very good choice.
Personally I learned a lot because I had never been really interested in the Banking Union.
The game at the end was very nice and allowed us to deepen our knowledge.

The subject of Kevin and Julien are totally in line with our studies.
Last year, we learned about the rules for the banks to protect the economy and to prevent a crisis. I think the subject has completed the lesson. Because they talked about Euro zone and not only France. This is a subject a little complicated, so we needed concentration. And it was not easy in the end of the day with 3 english presentations
The game was good, I learned to write "Cyprus" ahaha

Julien and Kevin chose a very serious topic. Banking Union is very complex to explain and they managed to do it with success. Not only they had a good English, but their slides were very relevant. The game at the end was cool even though we should have had more points...

in my opinion,Greece's debt crisis should be resolved by Greece itself, because Greece has no repayment ability. Greece has been helped for a long time, that's enough. otherwise, it will be a problem without end.

Difficult subject, more but very interesting subject for our culture. They found very well made and easily understandable videos. The quiz on the various countries of the European Union had a lot of success, very good balance between the presentation, the videos and the game.

I think the subject was not easy...
Apart from the little slide (not explained), you did a good job and a good presentation.

This subject was risky but you guys pulled it off! I mean risky because I would have found it uneasy to talk about a major and vast topic as this one in a foreign language! Good job! I really liked the video and the game at the end took off a little of the seriousness of the display

Good presentation which can serve us for our general culture . Since the financial crisis in 2008, the European Commission has pursued numerous initiatives to establish a solid and secure financial sector within the Single Market. This uniform regulation forms the basis of the Banking Union. With the expansion of the financial crisis and its subsequent aggravation of the euro area debt crisis, it became clear that for the countries sharing the euro, and thus even more interdependent, further integration of their banking systems necessary. However, would this make it possible to restore the soundness of the banking system for its member countries?

I think that the European Union must have its own policy backed by its European culture and not always copy the US even if they are considered "the great ones of this world".
Each must advocate its policy

in fact, i had not taken your presentation because i was not focus enough on the presentation.

It was a good subject but a bit a repeat of what we saw since license 1

I won't be very original, but it's important for us to know what was in this presentation.
All regulations and systems of banking union are things we must now to work in this sector. Julien and Kévin had a good idea to make this subject for in english presentation. It makes us more accustomed to the technical terms in english, and we've got to recognize that it wasn't easy for us with all the numbers to give clear explanations. Even for you John it didn't seems so clear for one of the rules.
With all the lessons we've had on this we knew a big part of this regulations but we've also discovered new ones and it bring something more at your topic

The presentation of Julien and Kevin was very interesting.
The banking union aims to guarantee the safety and reliability of the banking sector in the euro area and the EU. So I think we can trust the banking system, even though since the crisis of 2008 there has been no evidence that the world economic situation has been improved.
At least we can be sure that the banking union will do everything to avoid the failures that the big banks can have which are the pillars of the system in order to avoid a crisis. Because we all need banks to save our money because we can not hide it indefinitely under our mattress or in a hole, but also to borrow in order to realize our projects.
