Épisode 1:
To load Piper Chapman is fifteen-month-old condemned person of prison because she transported of the drug money, ten years earlier. Accompanied with her fiancé, Larry Bloom, her goes to the prison for women which will be its house for the next months. Accidentally, she offends the food of the prison in the presence of the cooker, Red. This one takes revenge by serving to her a worn stamp. At the end of the episode, Chapman discovers that Alex Vause, her former mistress who urged him to commit this crime, is in the same prison.

Épisode 2: `
The kitchen staff gives nothing more to eat to Chapman since she criticized the food of Red. This one tries then to apologize by all means. Vause made pass of the food to Chapman but the latter throws her under the eyes of the kitchen staff. Finally Chapman manages be forgiven by preparing a cream for the back of Red, by means of Crazy Eyes who gets closer more and more to her. At the end of the episode, Vause is deprived of food to have given to eat to Chapman.

Épisode 3:
Crazy Eyes decides that Chapman is from now on his wife, in the biggest despair of the latter which does not know how to tell him clearly that she is not. Crazy Eyes asks to share its room with Chapman what urges Healy to intervene. Besides refusing this request, he advises to Chapman to push away Crazy Eyes smoothly, what she is doing. She is finally put with Miss Claudette who, according to the rumors, is in prison for murder. Thus Chapman is frightened. Miss Claudette is very strict on the cleanliness of their room. The episode ends in Crazy Eyes who urinates in the room of Chapman and Miss Claudette, on the floor, out of revenge.

Épisode 4:
Chapman joins the electric studio. A prisoner of the name of Mercy gets ready to go out of prison, Boo is dissatisfied because Mercy is one of "his" and because she does not want that she leaves. To the studio a screwdriver disappeared and Watson is accused and put in isolation because it is her who took care of tools. Piper realizes later than it is in reality her who kept it by mistake and she speaks about it to Miss Claudette when there is an inspection because she does not know where to hide it. Miss Claudette takes care of it then tells her to put him/her/it back in place to it unless nobody notices it. But searches take place around the studio and Chapman returns finally in the chamber with the screwdriver. The agent loaded the electric studio acquires a screwdriver to replace the other coach his superiors put him a lot of pressure to find it.
