In the beginning, I wanted to choose the series "breaking bad", because it's my favorite series, but I saw that it was already taken, so I finally chose the series " better call saul" which is a derivative series of the universe of "breaking bad".

The series is based on the past of saul goodman, emblematic character of the series breaking bad who had to flee the new mexico and changed identity, following the events related in the end of the series. This one now lives hide and works in a cafeteria.
He then remembers his past and how he became the lawyer we know.

Episode 1 - Season 1

Saul Goodman turned the page after his involvement in the Heisenberg case, hiding as an employee in a cafeteria. He recalls how, in 2001, when he was wearing his birth name, James McGill, he was trying to live as an independent lawyer, earning a meager salary when he was defending cases as a court-appointed lawyer. Underpaid and tired of being dismissed by his brother Chuck's associate lawyers who rob him of the few clients he is trying to get, James has the idea of ​​setting up a scam with two young skaters who have tried to Scam: they will simulate an accident with the client McGill hopes to get. But the incident went badly as the car flees. McGill sees it as a manna because of the aggravating circumstances, but he does not know that the young people were wrong in the car: they were overthrown by Tuco Salamanca's grandmother and he does not appreciate being asked for the " money.

Episode 2 - Season 1


Tuco Salamanca locks Jimmy McGill and the two skaters at home. Despite the explanations of Jimmy, who tries to show him that there was an error, Tuco takes them in the desert to execute them. Tuco's right arm, Nacho, convinces Tuco to let Jimmy live. The latter then uses his talents as a lawyer to negotiate the "punishment" of the skaters: Tuco will content themselves with breaking their legs. Wanting to forget this sad episode, Jimmy resumes his life as a lawyer. But one day, Nacho comes knocking on his door: he asks him to help him steal the million dollars that Craig Kettleman would have flown to the city.

Episode 3 - Season 1

Persuaded that Nacho will act quickly, Jimmy tries to warn the Kettleman anonymously. The next day, the family disappeared and the house was ransacked. Jimmy tries to contact Nacho but he has already been arrested and denies his involvement; The evidence that the police holds is actually evidence of Jimmy's abduction and twin skaters. Kim Wexler, a former associate of Chuck, tries to help Jimmy but is helpless. In front of the house, Jimmy ends up being convinced that the Kettleman staged their own abduction. Nobody believes it except one person: Mike Ehrmentraut, the courthouse parking officer, who had a similar case when he was a police officer. Jimmy follows his trail and finds the family camping in the desert behind their house, with the money they hijacked.

Episode 4 - Season 1


After finding the Kettleman, Jimmy learns from them that he has rather the head of the lawyer than the guilty ones want to hire and regretfully accepts the money diverted to cover them. He then thinks about how to remedy his lack of image: he will install a billboard, drawing heavily from the law firm HHM, thanks to the amount of money he has earned. However, Hamlin will sue him and he will be forced to have his poster removed within 48 hours. He imagines a stratagem : he pretends to be a hero by saving the worker in charge of unhooking the poster that was going to fall into the void, while Jimmy hired him to play the comedy. This makes him a big publicity, even if Hamlin suspects the stratagem, but he does not want his brother to discover him, lest he see him return to his old ways, and so does not bring him the newspaper of the day . However, Chuck finds the courage to go out of his house and discovers what his brother has done.

Episode 5 - Season 1

Police go to Chuck for his newspaper theft. While he refuses to let them in and begins to explain, the two policemen (thinking that Chuck has something to blame) break the door and Chuck faints because of their electronic devices. Meanwhile, Jimmy has business but the only ones who really walk are wills for the elderly. Jimmy finds Chuck in the hospital where there is a mental problem; When all electronic devices are out of range, Chuck wakes up. But the nurse switches on an electronic device again, unbeknownst to Chuck, who does not react; It proves then that the problem is well mental. Jimmy, after several changes of mind (especially when Howard arrived), brings Chuck home, thus avoiding the internment. Jimmy finally gets back by investing (as a lawyer) with the elderly.

Episode 6 - Season 1


Mike is brought to the police station by two Philadelphia policemen who he knows well. He asks Jimmy for help, without asking questions, because it concerns his past as a policeman and his family. Reluctantly, Jimmy finally agreed to help Mike in his subterfuge to retrieve the notebook from one of the police officers to find out how well their investigation progressed. Mike will understand that his daughter-in-law has warned the police and, after anger, will agree to reveal the truth: Mike was a corrupt Philadelphia policeman, saw his son, a policeman as well, discover the truth about his Colleagues and his father. Unable to bear the situation, he went adrift and two of his team-mates eventually killed him in order to cover himself, accusing a dealer of the murder. Mike will sink into alcohol before revenge six months later and trap assassins to kill them just before fleeing to Albuquerque to join his daughter-in-law and daughter.

Episode 7 - Season 1

Mike manages to put an end to his troubles by returning the notebook to the police, who will stifle the case. Jimmy begins to invest with retired clients and consider opening a real cabinet when the Kettleman remind him: their record is indefensible and it's impossible to avoid prison for Craig, or Betsy wants them to be cleared. She does not hesitate to recall that Jimmy has received money and is therefore involved. After hesitating but before Kim's career threatened to lose a customer, Jimmy asks Mike for help: he manages to recover the money from the Kettleman, then Jimmy returns his share to deliver it to the prosecutor's office. The Kettleman have no choice, pick up Kim as a lawyer and surrender. Jimmy then becomes alone and without money, back to his starting situation.
