Peaky Blinders

I've choosen Peaky Blinders, maybe you've already watched.
For the moment there are 3 seasons and 6 episodes (of nearly one hour) in each seasons. But the season 4 release in few weeks, in November !!!

It's a great series. I thought it might be more of a boys thing but I guess not. I'm looking forward to the next series.

A lot of people recommands me to watch Peaky Blinders !
Being on holidays, I've started it on Monday. I've finished the first season, which I really liked ! I definitively hate Campbell. He's THE jerk of the season.
I found this show very immersive, well done, and I'm totally in love with its BO !
Then, Cillian Murphy is such a good actor...!

So I will tell you about the story. For those who don't know, is a gangster TV series. The Peaky Blinders is a family gang who lives in Birmingham and operate in the city. The serie begins just after the first world war and show how the Shelby family will expand their criminal organization from Birmingham to London.
The gang is a romani/irish family gang led by Tommy Shelby (my boyfriend) and they "practice" racketeeing, smuggling of alcohol and tobacco, and illegal gambling...
The cool thing is that is based on a real history, the story of the peaky blinders gang.

On Arte website, they are informations and episodes about The peaky blinders gang... It was very interesting.

It is true that in english is totally not the same meaning !
Besides, we can say "signification" in english like meaning or it doesn't exist in english ?

The sound track is the music to the movie/series.

A teaser is a very short extract from the movie/programme

A trailer is a longer video advert for a movie/series

to signify is a synonym of to mean in some circumstances.

English words come from a variety of backgrounds to mean is an old English word with Germanic roots and to signify is an old French word with Latin roots. We were using "mean" before the Norman conquest in 1066 and the Norman elite used latin/old French words whilst the old English peasantry used old English words. So now I'm waiting for the season 4 who released the 15th of November on BBC 2. So now I'm watching Bojack Horseman and it is so funny !! (but sometime it makes me sad). here is the trailer !

As I told you I've never watched Peaky Blinders but hearing you talking about it everyday since the begining of the year made me wanna start it ahaha
It must be a very good TV show if you're that enthousiast about it! I promise you I'll start it soon and of course, I'll give you a feedback

I only watched the first season of Peaky Blinders, and I actually liked it. The funny thing when you watch it in English is the real heavy accent of the actors that make it even more real!

My god... ! season 4' sountracks are just... perfect
