Stranger Things

Hello everybody.. ! I talk about the serie Stranger Things ; so if you have seen or not, you’re welcome to discuss or discover this wonderful serie.. !

At the begining, when a friend advised me this serie, I was sceptical because it’s not my type the 80’s horror films.
But : « We must’nt judge a film on its cover but on its contents », and when I saw the first episode, I was fall in love by the concept.
You are directly inside the action : the first second the intrigue/theme is given. And after that, you discover a little girl with power ; his name is eleven by a tattoo (so mysterious). An other fact mysterious a boy (Will Bayers) disappear in the barn.
So when you see an episode you wait an other to discover the outcome of history for all characters : Hopper (chief of police) ; Eleven and Will Bayers.
How can it be possible that this phenomen exist in this country ? The answer is inside this season. So watch it right now.. ! You don’t regret this  
Stranger things isn’t only an horror serie but also comedy, romantic, action, sad (at the end), ask reflexion and very very mysterious.
The innocence of little kids is so cuuute and so comic. All fact who live, they compare with their game « dungeon & dragon » so hilaring.. !

Little spoil : How can you kill a monster with a stone/rock ?  

The terrifying monster… Name that kids give is Demogorgon !

For the people who known this serie.
So, I’ve juste finish this season 1 but before to watch the next season, what do you think of this season 1 ?
You know my opinion, I love this serie ; but I was so saaad when eleven or Elfe is died      I can’t believe this, you agree with me ?

What’s more, so mysterious the last episode with Hopper, do you remember ? When he come inside a car. What did you think he did ?
An other act which interrogate maybe you have a answer, when Hopper put food in the chest, why ?


And to finish, when Will Bayer go to the bathroom. The monster didn’t disappear ? « Holy crab », he is inside him ? It’s so terrifying.  

Around me many people have recommended this series. So, tonight I just watched the first episode of season 1, and I was afraid at first noise...  

Despite that, I want to watch the rest of the story, the suspense is at its height. Where is Will Bayers ?? I will worry all night long...

Is that a recent serie ? I see that it is NETFLIX serie, but I don't have netflix...And you Gwenaelle have you netflix ?

As anyone here saw Stranger Things 2 ? For my part, I was really disappointed by this second season... although I've found the first one really great !
I think actors in this show are good, and convincing for their ages ! Dustin is my favorite !

I just started to watch because a lot of people told me to watch it. I like it but it scares me a little

Hi there ! I really want to watch this serie because when the second season released during the holidays, I was with my little sister and I saw her laugh a lot when she was watching...

This serie is amazing! I've loved it too! It made me think about E.T. and all of the Spielberg's movies I used to whatch when I was younger, and also Alien! There are a lot of references to the American culture of the of the 80's and I love that, it is a beautiful tribute and the actors are great! I remember seeing Winona Rider when I was a child in Edward Scissorshands, such a classic! And she is still so beautiful ! And I also loved the fact that in the second season they introduced the actor who played Sam Gamegie in the Lord of the Ring, another smart reference to the Hollywood classics!

But I do not agree with you Celine, I thought the second season was actually really good and that they really managed to in enrich the universe and the psychology of the characters which was not an easy work to do !

I would recommand it to any kind of people, it is really a TV show for everybody and don't worry Virginie and Florine, it isn't that scary

Hello, I totally agree with Elsa.

This series has managed to develop the characters and the story-line without falling into the extreme. So when I watched it, I was like "that's sound credible". At the end of each episode I just wanted to watch another.

Moreover, the characters were well-developed, all of us has a different story and an interest in the series ! Thanks to that, we can see that the characters of Eleven and Mike evolve in the right way (even if I think the romance between them wasn't really useful...).

For the 3rd season, I want to understand more precisely the link between the "hospital, laboratory research" and Eleven. I want to Eleven try to understand her past, and maybe find other people like her (as 008) !

I have binge watched the second season of this series during the holidays and I really enjoyed, I'm really imaptient for the third season.

I am skeptical about the high media exposure of these young teenagers because I think that could affect their future lives

Several friends recommended me this serie me too! I would like to watch it, it seems full of suspense and twists but I'm not brave enoug, I'm too easily scared by horror movies, this is why I never watch it even if I would like to

Stranger thing dates from 2016. If you want more information : Netflix is a movie and serial's hosting site, and it is 10 euros per month with many choices !

10 euros ? It's not so expensive !
Netflix seems to have lot of choices !

I have Netflix but I share with my nephew so it's more convenient and cheaper..!

Yes, I agree with you, the fact that serie have created a buzz maybe Youngs actors could be affect. So, we should be wait and see...

Don’t worry, I was worried at first for the "scary" side. But I think this side is very little present in the serie (season 1). So don’t hesitate, but you can look with someone else if it can reassure you

So I finished the second season yesterday. I was afraid to be disappointed by this one. I definitively love Stranger Things ! This season was nice! But I'm wondering which innovative story line they could make for the next season ? I'm looking forward to see it

Like this serie but I think the producers would have stopped that serie after the season 2. They will release a third season but it will be the same, I hope something else and interessing will happen otherwise I will be disapointed!
