Class session 16/11/17

So the presentations are finished (well apart from Julian's). I've sent you all a review with a few mistakes for you to correct. one or two of you have watched yourselves and sent me a short critical review - Loris yours was particularly good. Those who haven't please watch and listen to yourself it's an important step towards improving your English and your presentation skills.

Next Thursday I thought we could have either a debate or discussion during the class session. If you're happy with that then I'd like you to reply here suggesting a topic/topics that you'd like to cover. I'll check what you've suggested and let you know what I think on Monday so that you have time to prepare to speak in English If you're not happy with that then feel free to suggest an alternative session in your reply.

Maybe for the next classroom we can debate about the problem of the Catalonia, a freepack review. Last week there was a good tv report about the first year of Trump as president, we can give our opinion on everything he did ex..

- The Young Products just work harder ?

Hello John I wanted to add my suggestion as well.
How about looking at the gender roles of toys especially given Christmas season approaching and still seeing the same pattern each year and same link pink for girls, blue for boys. I was just thinking it could be an interesting discussion about the topic and in line with our course

For the next classroom I propose to debate on :
- Rise of the extreme right in the world
- The omnipresence of the screens in our lives

I think we have to debate on something more important, more bigger, more stronger ! That's why I propose to debate on a fact that is criminal ! People who put their fruits in the fridge !

I suggest to talk about the evolution of packaging. Jean-Jacques Urvoy say the packaging is going to disappear in 2020. I don't think it will be possible for the packaging to disappear, what is your opinion ?

From the evidence of this thread it would seem that Pack work harder and Kids products can't be bothered.

I like this theme : gender role of toys ! I think this subject is concerned "pack" and "children".

I also approve the theme of Cécilia : Catalonia.

Have you ever eat a frozen banana ? It is disgusting. I'm sur a criminal action like this one is one of the main causes of waste.  

It is like the hairdresser's names ! What terrible play on words. I don't understand them. We have to stand up against all this mess !

Anyway, more seriously, the use of the screens too soon for kids sounds good to me

We can also debate on the fact that childrens needs to be protect against publicity because of their undevelop cognitive capacities
