Post by Pierre Bonnefont Tue Feb 05, 2019 11:05 am

In 1910, the Tournament of Five Nations was born with the entry of France because Scotland had always refused to face them (lol), France, accused of violence, because of France-Wales in 1930, very brutal, and professionalism is excluded from the tournament by the British nations. Neutral

Since then, France has carried out 8 others in 1977, 1981, 1987, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2004 and 2010.
In 2000, the Italian team participated in its first tournament, which gave rise to the Six Nations Tournament.
And so since the transition to six nations, the list of prizewinners:

France (3): 2002, 2004, 2010
Wales (3): 2005, 2008, 2012
England (2): 2003, 2016
Ireland (2): 2009, 2018
Scotland (0) and Italy (0) So France>England

"What is Italy's place in the 6 nations tournament? With 55 defeats in 65 games played in 19 tournaments,  the question can ask .Italy entered the tournament of the 5 nations in 2000 thus creating the tournament of the 6 nations and the reason for this come is the good result in the 90s of the Italian team. The goal was to foster the development of a strong new nation in Europe.Or after 19 years the results are not satisfactory so we can question the place of Italy in the tournament and we could maybe see new nation returned to the tournament from the 6 nation B tournament so that minor teams meet big nation.

Good point.

Have a playoff between Italy, Georgia and a bunch of other weak European teams for the right to participate in the tournament each year.

The 6 nations tournement is a rugby competition organized every year. France was admitted in 1910, then in 2000 it was Italy's turn to join the tournement. The tournament is a symbol of a good mood and a time of sharing between the teams and their supporters. Indeed while football is experiencing hooliganism, rugby advocates values of conviviality.

The six-nation tournament is an annual rugby competition where, since 2000, Italy and the countries of the former Five Nations tournament, created in 1910, have been played: England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales and France. The last six nations where the French were winning was in 2010. There is a tradition in this tournament which is that when a team finishes alone last or loses all its matches, this team is rewarded with "the wooden spoon", as for me it is the italy that seems unfortunately below the other 5 teams, which has the record wooden spoon. But from year to year the italy shows a good progression in this tournament without succeeding to win ...

The winner of this event is considered the champion of Europe. Today it is the team of Irelande who is the champion team in title. The six nations is the rugby tournament that the English absolutely just humiliated the French in. I mean, 44-8? Either England are on fire or France are quite bad... Must be both. ENGLAND FOR THE GRAND SLAM
